A beautiful four season lakefront house on peaceful and quiet Twitchell Pond. This year round home is in pristine condition. It has two bedrooms with two additional sleeping lofts. Open concept with granite counter tops and fully equipped kitchen. Comfortable couch and 2 recliner chairs in the open living room. Dining room table looks out over the lake. There is a large private dock ideal for swimming and using the 3 kayaks and 2 paddle boards that we have for our guests. Natural fire pit in the yard just steps from the lake. There is a ping pong table in the basement. Located just minutes from Mount Abram and 20 minutes from Sunday River. There are hiking trails nearby and a golf course at Sunday River. The White Mountains in NH are 30 minutes away. Check out the Mountain bike park at Mount Abram. Listen to the loons on the lake, enjoy games or reading on the screened in porch. We have "beach" towels and chairs for your use. There are board games, puzzles, cards and books in the living room. You will have everything you need while staying here - full kitchen, on-site washer/dryer, Smart TV's, Wifi, parking for 2 cars, coffee and tea, kitchen staples, filtered water and luxury bedding and towels.

Why they chose this property

This home has stunning scenery, it's a very clean lake that is refreshing and inviting to swim, kayak or paddleboard. There is lots of fresh air and privacy. You will feel a sense of peace and tranquility as you hear the loons on the lake. There are very few motorboats on this lake. The house is in a quiet neighborhood on a dead end street. You can enjoy walks down the street, drive to hiking trails just minutes away. Bethel is 15 minutes away where you will find a classic New England village with dining options, outdoor recreation including skiing, hiking and mountain biking.
