Wildwood Wonder-Sunriver rental home

Loved the location of this home, central to everything. The hot tub and game room were well used by the grandkids. SHARC passes (8) and bicycles were also a very nice addition. Very attractive home.

We loved the house and amenities. The hot tub and game room were a big hit with all the grandkids. The SHARC passes were also appreciated. There were a few negatives that I reported to the local Vacasa office: there was an issue using the oven, downstairs shower, no hot water (valve problem), downstairs mattress is very poor and needs replaced. This the 4 star rating, otherwise it would have been 5 stars.

Thus gone has a beautiful fireplace and a good hot tub. It’s located close to activities and paths. Not all the beds are comfortable. If you have back/sleep issues maybe not a good choice. The house is old but updates have been made. It’s cute but not for us.

Great location; decent sized home for family

Stayed here for an extended family reunion (other family members rented homes nearby). Living room and kitchen was adequate for dinners with everyone over (about 17 people). Home needs some updating in the kitchen and new window treatments in several rooms. King size beds in 2 of the 3 bedrooms was a plus. Close proximity to the Village and on a quiet cul de sac was nice as well.

House was in a great location, perfect size, well stocked kitchen, really comfortable beds, great hot tub, tons of bikes, and big buck hunter! Place really was great. If I was to nitpick, I'd say the grill could use a cleaning or an upgrade. But it certainly didn't make our experience any less enjoyable. Thank you!

Decent house overall but…

The location and layout were great. However the kitchen was outdated and lacking in basic supplies like frying pans, dishwasher and laundry detergent and garbage bags (they did bring a frying pan upon request). We appreciated that there were lots of bikes in the garage but several were in bad shape and there weren’t any tools to make adjustments. Considering the price for the 5 nights it was not the greatest value.

The reviews I read about this place before booking were not that accurate. The location of this property is the best part about it. We also found it clean. However, the kitchen was not stocked with anything. Couldn’t even find something to flip the eggs over in the am. The beds were really horrible, we all didn’t sleep well the whole time we were there. The pillows and mattresses are really bad. There were extra pillows available but no pillowcases anywhere. There was a washer and dryer but only soap for one load. We needed to wash the beach towels daily so we had to buy laundry soap. For the price this unit gets per night, they need to update the unit and put a little money into maintaining it. It’s really dated and the pictures make it look more modern and updated than it is. We won’t be back but if you come, bring a fan for the upstairs bedrooms (it gets hot), your own pillows, detergent and kitchen cooking supplies and everything you will need to cook with. All items here are from the 70’s.

Perfect place for a family, on the edge of houses so almost zero cars the whole trip

The location is wonderful. It’s further from the village than other places we’ve stayed, but closer to the bike path and I cannot stress how few cars we saw during both stays, one in 2023 and one this past week. My kids live being able to hike to the village on their own from the house. Lots of bikes in the garage to try before heading to the rental shop which is great. My husband and I used the tandem bike for date night which was fun :) Overall this house has everything you need and then some. Both times we’ve stayed there has been a basket with plenty of seasonings etc which is honestly so nice when you want to grill and don’t want to go buy seasoning or evoo- there’s usually some there. Bring foil and ziploc bags or Tupperware - one thing there is not is food storage containers for leftovers - I assume because they just get taken. Heads up though because with two full size refrigerators, there is plenty of space to prep and store food for group meals!

The bikes are NOT rideable!

The home was clean, the hot tub was wonderful and we enjoyed the house. However, the bike advertisement needs to be REMOVED. There are bicycles, yes, but they are not rideable. Chains falling off, seats not staying up... we couldn't even make it further than the driveway with ANY OF THEM except ONE. ONE bike was decent enough for my 12 year old to ride and she struggled with the seat constantly. This was an immediate disappointment because this is a bicycle community... that is how you get around. We booked this house, in large part, because bikes were included. This inclusion is NOT accurate. At all. We called the number and expressed our disappointment. We asked for vouchers to rent bikes because we now had to spend $250 to cover what Vacasa had failed to provide and they refused. They said "we can come take a look at them but we will not provide anything different." It was a worthless call. Looking at them would not fix the VERY broken bikes. They need to be trashed. So yes, this house was lovely but if you expect bicycles you will not have them. It's false advertising. We stayed at the house July 11-15, 2022.

wonderful home, very convenient location

I was a little nervous booking this home as it hadn't been rated by others, but overall it was fantastic. we are a family of four and it was plenty big for all of us. There are a bunch of bikes in the garage along with lots of fun games and toys for the kids (and adults!) to play with. the bike path is very accessible and it's so fun to ride around on the trails. the beds were comfy (especially the king bed upstairs), the kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed, and we appreciated all of the updates that had been made to the bathrooms. some suggestions for the owners/rental company: the fridge is very loud (I would turn it down at night so it wouldn't keep me up), the internet was a little spotty (we had to turn the router off/on several times as we would loose connection throughout the day), the blinds in the kitchen need a new pull otherwise you cant raise them to see the amazing views around the house. i would definitely stay here again.

Great Location. Would Stay Again.

We rented this property for a short family getaway. We loved the location, it had plenty of space for us, the beds were comfortable, nice big windows for natural light and the hot tub was great. Despite freezing temps and the game room being an unheated garage, our kids had a great time playing in the ‘game room.’ We like to make meals (even on vacation) and the kitchen was spacious, but an awkward layout and random assortment of utensils. (There is a Keurig and a wine fridge). The light bulbs in the chandelier in the stairwell wouldn’t stop flashing when we switched it on, so we didn’t use it, but plenty of other lighting. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and would happily stay there again.
