Our stay was simply perfect. The view is outstanding, the home was fantastic, and my communication with the property manager was excellent. I’d encourage anyone to stay here for a delicious getaway.
Very comfy house with a huge deck and incredible views of Bellingham Bay. Feels isolated but only 2 miles from Fairhaven shops and restaurants and 10 mins to the university and Bellingham proper. Everything you need for a comfortable stay.
Like everyone says, it’s all about the view. The house is functional but the view is priceless. Location great too - we never had to drive more than 9 minutes to get anywhere.
This property incredible. I will definitely be back. Was perfect location to stay for our Daughter getting married at Lairmont Manor. The deck was fabulous, view was magical. Close to Larrabee state park and Chuckanut trail systems. Beds were cozy and comfortable.
This home was absolutely stunning in terms of view! Waking up to the sun and overlooking the bay. Yet you are so close to town still. This place is amazing.
My family thoroughly enjoyed their multi-week stay on Chuckanut Bay. As advertised, the 180-degree views over Chuckanut Bay onto the San Juans and the Olympics, just made it. The house has a minimalist open-air flow yet still warm, well-equipped kitchen, soft linens, stocked toiletries, and a back deck that doubled the size of our living space. Great location minutes away from Fairhaven/Bellingham boutiques and dining and multiple outdoor adventures. We’d love to stay again!
Son and fiancé live in Bellingham. Daughter flew out from Ireland to celebrate mom’s Birthday week. Although we had a lot of rain, we played board games and enjoyed the amazing views offered from every room! This was the perfect family gathering and we will definitely return during warmer months to enjoy the hiking trails.
Oh my - there is no way to describe the peacefulness of staying in this house! The views change by the minute and are all phenomenal! Pictures are a good representation of the house. Fairhaven is a wonderful discovery and is only a couple of miles away! It has so many fun shops/restaurants. We highly recommend the Irish Nachos at Archer's Pub! The owner of the property was very quick to respond to any questions. We definitely want to stay there again.
Clear, timely, helpful communication. Clean home. Phenomenal view. Quiet/peaceful with large deck, ample seating and well stocked fire pit. Captured stunning photos and created wonderful memories. Grateful! ❤️
This place is all about the view. You walk in the front door and it's all you can focus on. The expansive deck was great for lounging on, drink in hand, at the end of a busy day of sightseeing. The kitchen was really well stocked for a rental and we enjoyed cooking meals here. The location was fantastic. Minutes from town but feels like you're in the country. My only quibble is that the furnishings were a little spartan (no bedside table lamps), but overall a great place.
Location and house were excellent. There was a problem with the cleaning service, but the manager came out the next day and took care of it herself as she couldn’t get a regular cleaner in on such short notice. Kudos to her for being responsive! We had a great stay and think they had the best view of the bay.
This was a trip for my family to explore a new part of the country. Our short stay (5 days) allowed us to sample what the area had to give including Larrabee State Park for tidal pools and forested hills, whale watching, sampling from a top notch nearby shellfish farm, and a day trip to Seattle among many other things. We were a little worried about the nearby train tracks at first, but it really wasn't an issue for us. The best part was to come home tired and hungry and sit and eat on the deck taking in the views which the profile for the property really can't do justice. We were there the last week of August and weather was very cooperative. We loved it here.
Had a great stay. The views are spectacular. Kitchen had high end cookware-great for eating in. Lots of extra linens and stocked with necessary toiletries. Host was great at replying quickly. Would definitely stay again!
This house has some of the best unobstructed views of the sound I have ever seen. The house is beautiful and if you are looking to entertain it has the space. I enjoyed cooking in the kitchen. It has everything you could ever need. The owner was great and communicated well. The only thing this house doesn’t have that I wish I did…a hot tub! Will def stay there again!!!
