Awful experience almost stranded in Houston

We booked this stay directly through VRBO. It was confirmed 4 days prior to our trip and we received our check in codes and confirmation the night before we arrived. As we get off our flight and turn on our phone I get a notification of a refund for the security deposit. no notice or email of cancellation of the reservation. I go on VRBO and only then do I see a message saying it was cancelled due to a double booking and the owers and PM never would return any messages as we were already in an uber heading to the home. VRBO staff tried finding me a hotel however it was over double our budget and we found our own hotel. it is apparent they tried cashing in after we booked since the national college football championship was in town and came up with an excuse to get more money. Never deal with this owner or property management group called HER management. We never even got to see the place.

Safe and Friendly!

This area is was right in the hub of where we wanted to be! Near family as well as fun in Houston. This listing was big enough for my family to come visit and us to sleep! There were 4 of including an infant. I felt safe in this gated community. Even able to walk around and enjoy the gym! Highly suggest if you are looking for a convenient spacious living arrangement for a group!
