This was a great location and just what we were looking for. We had a couple of minor maintenance issues and Hugh was easy to communicate with and issues were fixed in a timely manner. I would definitely recommend this location to others as it was a perfect homebase for all our activities and the hot tub was perfect for relaxing after a day of hiking and driving the Blue Ridge Parkway.
We really enjoyed staying in this cabin. It was very clean and had everything needed to have a comfortable stay. We enjoyed the secluded spot with the hot tub on the deck. The location was great with cool breweries and restaurants nearby. We would definitely recommend this cabin and can’t wait to visit again.
Nice cozy cabin and very private with all the amenities. We loved the hot tub and indoor fireplace. Close to Ashville and Chimney Rock State Park. The owner was very attentive and check in was simple.
Cabin was perfect for our family and what we needed. Was nice and hidden deep in the woods. Private enough and very peaceful around. I wished we had booked 1-2 more days!
This cabin was a small cozy cabin off of a single lane road. Conveniently located close to town and only a few miles away, well maybe 20 mins from some of our favorite antique malls
This was a great location for hiking in Pisgah or DuPont. The NC Arboretum is only 20 minutes away too! The cabin has everything you could want, including a nice hot tub and two decks. We were visited by the deer almost every day, and once a bunch of wild turkeys. We would stay here again!
Lots of privacy. This property feels as if you have a mountain to your self while being only minutes away from downtown Brevard NC. And all of the water falls and many attractions are easily accessible to this home. I will definitely call about this cabin again.
Perfect getaway! Cabin was nicely decorated & very clean! Kitchen is well stocked. Enjoyed out stay and will definitely come back! Only recommendation is to have a wooden fence at hot tub or something to block street light from hottub....at night it was hard to see my spouse's face or stars in sky with light shining in our eyes. Great place & location. Definitely recommend this place!
My wife and daughter came to Asheville for a fibers festival. I enjoyed the artists studios then we would return to a comfortable evening in the cabin to share our experiences refreshed for the next day.
This property was the best that we’ve experienced in a very long time. The host was incredibly responsive and attentive to all questions, and privacy was not impacted whatsoever. We took a couple walks up the mountain and the scenery and silence was absolutely mesmerizing. If you’re looking for a quiet getaway with your partner and/or a couple friends, you will not find a better setup. All of this, along with being only 20 or so minutes from all that Asheville has to offer. We will definitely come back regularly to enjoy this amazing property.
This cabin was exactly what we were looking for. It is very secluded with abundant wildlife to explore while having your morning coffee on the porch. The location is perfect being 20 - 30 minutes from Asheville and even less to Brevard. The master bed in the bedroom is a Select Comfort and definitely provides a great nights sleep! The hot tub is, hands down, the hottest we have ever experienced, but is perfect to warm you up from the cold mountain waters of the Pisgah National Forest and soothe tired muscles from hiking. We enjoyed grilling steaks and seafood from the local Ingel’s Market. The owner was very responsive from booking the reservation until check out. Will be back to enjoy the mountains in fall!
Drive all way down a private road and you end at your own cabin about 100yds from 2 other neighbors. Time seemed to slow for us here In the woods and was peaceful. We saw deer several times and couple white squirrels. Owner was very helpful and helped us fix hot tub setting to 104F (109 was cooking us). All the furniture, including bed, is very cushiony and comfy. Being from Florida we were hesitant to try the fireplace. But honestly we enjoyed how refreshing it was for cool weather and just wore a hoody and sweatpants inside the cabin. This was a great deal for a nice cabin stay. For 2 adults it’s perfect and I could totally live here full time. Thank you hosts
From the second we drove up the long driveway and saw a little family of deer scampering through the leaves, we knew we would love the cabin. The changing leaves and the stillness of the forest were absolutely enchanting. The moment we walked inside, it felt like home away from home. The cabin was clean, the furniture and beds were comfortable, the decor was cute and welcoming, and the guest instructions and wifi information were readily accessible. The hot tub was easy to use and in good repair, and the linens were clean and easy to find. A special note that it was obvious that the cabin had been cleaned thoroughly and recently. There was absolutely no debris, crumbs, leaves etc on the floor, which is so hard to achieve with hardwood floors, and the sheets smelled so fresh it was like they had been washed earlier that day. The water in the showers does run quite hot, so just beware of that, as well as the fact that the staircase is a little narrow so use care when ascending and descending it. It leads to an adorable loft area upstairs. The cabin is about 20 minutes outside of Asheville, which has a lot of fun things to do and a lot of great places to eat. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to friends without reservation.
This by far was the best experience we had. The cabin was more then we expected. This cabin has everything you need inside from plenty of towels to a kitchen full of dishes. Appliances work perfect. The shower was hot and water pressure strong. The bed was excellent loved the fact we could raise the head of the bed. Even has a built in massager.
The tv's were the perfect size for the rooms they were in . Plus they are filled with all the channels. The loft i did not go up but we did let some young ones stay with us 1 night they loved it. The fireplace was perfect and plenty of wood. The grill is what we used the most . Had a nice cookout with some family. The most important item for me was the hot tub. My last 2 years I had 6 surgeries on a knee so soaking it in such nice hot water did me a world of good.
We did see some deer walking at the back of the property. I felt safe here its very very quiet but at night there is a street light that brighten up at night.
There was nothing I didn't like about the cabin. Im looking forward to a second trip. Thank for all you did to make it special. We even liked the G on the front door..and the password for getting door unlocked was our wedding year..

Cabin was just as described. Very clean and comfortable. Hot tub was great. Host responded to me immediately before arriving and after arriving. Very kind. I would highly recommend this cabin/host. We hope to travel that way again and be a repeat customer.
We were a little confused when we arrived. We saw photos of what we thought was 2 bedrooms and a loft but there was only one bedroom and a loft. The photo of the main bedroom is taken numerous times with different bedding on it. The description does however say 2 bedrooms so that was on us. The road leading to the cabin is very secluded which is nice, but also a little rough and not paved, but most people that travel to the mountains regularly have come to expect that I think. Relaxing in the hot tub was nice! It was clean and well maintained.

What makes this property unique
Seclusion. On any given day you will have 5-10 deer walk through your front yard. The Brevard area which is 15 minutes away is home of the white squirrels and abundant waterfalls. . We have a family of white squirrels on the mountain. Be on the lookout while you are here. Wild turkey abound all over the mountain. All of this and you still can be to the grocery store or airport in less than 10 minutes... If this house is rented we have another rental HA7477399 -
