The location was amazing. I had an issue with the code to the beach, but management got me squared away within a few minutes of me contacting them! My only concern was the lock on the door. It was hard to get the deadbolt to lock, and it was not easy to tell if the door was locked when inside. My only other recommendation would be to have a throw blanket in the room. Would be a nice touch!

The place is older, we really enjoyed the stay for the convenience of getting to the beach. The only issues that we had were the keypad entry for our room didn't work half the time. I contacted them and told them the batteries were going dead. ( I work in maintenance at home). Maintain never showed up, so I bought batteries and changed myself. The other thing was the code they gave me to get to the beach didn't work. Locals that live there gave me a code and said that one changed years ago. Very friendly town and atmosphere.

Overall was a nice little studio to stay in. Clean. Room was clean and ready early. Nothing was set up as far as a parking pass and there’s no guarantee parking on site. That should be specified when looking for properties that you are looking to park at. We had to park across the Main Street in Panama several times. Location was great. Right on beach. Staff very friendly.

The booking process was easy. The condo was gorgeous. Check-In was at 4 and our room was ready at 4:00. However, the code provided for the pool and beach access was incorrect and there was no code provided for the laundry room. There were no beach towels which was fine because we brought our own but the listing said they would have some. Parking was very limited. They only provide one roll of toilet paper and one trash bag so you better bring some extra. The ground keeper was very nice and informative. The condo manager was not polite or helpful. But we met many residents who were extremely nice. Very helpful. Our stay was wonderful.

Cute/Great for our short stay

3 women stayed for a short girls trip. When we walked in, the unit was cute and clean. We had everything we needed. It could use a full length mirror where the decorative mirror is next to the table though. We fixed our breakfast and lunch in the unit and went out for dinner each night. There is a restaurant just a short walk from the unit that had good food and great dessert. That saved us from getting in the traffic at night and possibly not having a parking spot. I wasn’t thrilled to pay a $75 parking fee and not even be guaranteed a parking place at the unit. One night we had to park across the street but it was doable. We enjoyed our stay and I would stay here again.

While the room and location were very nice, we were not satisfied with our experience with Southern Vacation Rentals. The lock to our room did not function when we arrived, so we couldn’t leave without risking getting locked out. We called for maintenance immediately and were told we would get updated on the status of the repair but we never received that update. We were told there was no physical key available and that we should just stay in the room for the night. Maintenance arrived the following afternoon and did fix the lock. We asked for a refund for one night or an extra night to make up for the night we lost but Southern only offered half of a night’s rent. We accepted this but they processed that refund incorrectly causing the money to be withdrawn from our account instead of deposited. Difficult to contact and no follow up communication, very disappointing.
