Beautiful apartment in Moneglia (Genoa), on the first floor of a residential building just 300 meters from the beautiful beaches of this famous seaside resort on the Riviera di Levante.



It has a loggia equipped with a large table ideal for outdoor dining; one of the two bathrooms is reached by a short staircase with 6 steps. On foot you can reach the bathing establishments, the typical restaurants, the bars, the seafront and the excellent hiking trails. The concert season runs from Easter to October with concerts in the old chapel and the outdoor monastery of San Giorgio. Every week, typical markets wind through the ancient streets of the town. Near the train station, it is an ideal starting point to visit the main tourist destinations of Liguria: the Cinque Terre, Portofino, Rapallo, Santa Margherita Ligure. Moneglia is connected to Sestri Levante by spectacular tunnels directly along the sea, the old railroad is a truly impressive and characterful sight not to be missed.



There are also many opportunities for sports enthusiasts: Climbing, diving, fishing, boat rentals, canoeing, bike routes. In Moneglia it is possible to rent motor boats for pleasant excursions along the coast. On request and for a fee, the following additional services are available: family excursions with tastings in Genoa, excursions to Cinque Terre, Riviera di Levante, Portofino and San Fruttuoso, urban trekking in Genoa or naturalistic excursions to Cinque Terre and Portofino, excursions to Noli and Finalborgo, horseback riding, boat trips.

We made a mistake when we rented this unit. We thought we were staying in Cinque terra We are so lucky we made this mistake and found a small little village with a sandy beach Although it was too big, for the two of us, it had the two bathrooms required. The hosts were amazing. What Lucas never supplied us with his niece Katrina was always there for us Thanking everybody for the thoughtfulness and their friendliness

Nah am Bahnhof

Wir waren 1Woche in Moneglia die Wohnung ist in der Nähe des Bahnhof was für Ausflüge in die Umgebung sehr von Vorteil ist. Nachts hört man den einen oder anderen Zug. In der Nähe gibt es eine Backerei,Tankstelle, einen kleinen Laden mit allem was man braucht, eine kleine Bar für den Espresso am morgen, diverse Restaurants und Läden. Alle Leute waren sehr freundlich. Der Strand klein aber fein sandig bis steinig. Luca wahr sehr freundlich und stand jederzeit für Rat und Tat bereit. Vermisst haben wir einen Korkenzieher und ein grösseres Brett sonst nichts. Wir würden es wieder buchen.

Schöne Wohnung in Moneglia

Die Wohnung ist schön geräumig, hat 4 Schlafzimmer (wir haben nur drei benutzt) und zwei Bäder. Die Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet, die Wohnung war sehr sauber. Wir wurden vom Besitzer empfangen, die Kommunikation war sehr gut - sowohl in deutscher als auch in englischer Sprache. Man muss nur wissen, dass die Bahn in direkter Nähe verläuft und sich entsprechend einstellen. Die Bäder sind ein wenig in die Jahre gekommen. Sonst ist alles bestens - vielen Dank an Luca!

Bon séjour à Moneglia

Le lieu est conforme à la description : maison italienne typique, sans grande modernité mais avec tout le nécessaire pour passer un bon séjour. A 9 (4 adultes, 5 enfants) en novembre l'espace est suffisant. Luca est très accueillant et agréable. L'emplacement permet d'avoir des places de parking gratuite, et un accès à pied au centre ville, au bord de mer et à la gare (parfait pour visiter les 5 Terres). Petit bémol : le train passé très près, les boules Quies pour les plus sensibles sont de rigueur. Notre séjour reste néanmoins rempli plein d'excellents souvenirs.

Belle découverte

L'appartement présente l'avantage d'avoir une terrasse, un parking pour garer la voiture (difficile de se garer autrement dans la ville), d'être à côté de la mer, du centre-ville et de la gare (parfait pour visiter les 5 terres). Inconvénient : le bruit du train qui passe régulièrement (pour les personnes sensibles). Moneglia est une belle découverte, la plage est super pour les familles et le centre-ville est très agréable.

Delightful authentically Italian apartment in lovely town

Myself and four family members had a lovely stay in this delightful characterful apartment. I loved the old fashioned furniture and authentic marble sink in the kitchen. The bedrooms are large and the beds really comfortable. We could walk to the restaurants and beach in less than 10 minutes and the apartment is close to the railway line and station - which was great for us as we had no car. There is some occasional train noise - but it didn't bother us at all. Luca was very helpful and timely in contacting me before we arrived . I appreciate that he speaks fluent English as my Italian is almost non-existent. Thanks Luca for a great stay and I hope to be able to return again some day.

Schöne Familienferien

Eine sehr geräumige Wohnung mit mehr als ausreichend Platz für 5 Erwachsene und ein 11 jähriges Mädchen. Im Gegensatz zu anderen Bewertungen fanden wir die Küche recht gut ausgestattet. So haben wir jeden Tag gekocht. Auch die Umgebung haben sich die Jüngeren von uns wandernd erschlossen. Für das Schwimmen im Meer ist Moneglia ganz ideal. Die Nähe der Eisenbahn war von der Ferienhausvermietung deutlich erwähnt worden und störte niemanden von uns, selbst wenn wir den schönen Freisitz benutzten. Ganz besonders aber hat uns die Freundlichkeit und Hilfsbereitschaft des Besitzers Luca Marcone beeindruckt.
