ViVa Juan SPA

At 650 meters above sea level surrounded by beautiful landscapes, this rural retreat is the ideal holiday location if you seek tranquillity and something different from the bustling touristic resorts. “ViVa Juan” offers you with its Wellness zone total relaxation for body and mind. The Spa counts with a sauna with an infrared-set, a jacuzzi as well as a pool. All for your exclusive, private use at no extra cost!

Apartment 1 (61 m² ) consists of a comfortable bedroom with a double-bed, a bathroom with shower and a Finnish sauna, a cosy living-room with smartTV and with a balcony with stunning sea views, a fully equipped kitchen with a dining table, a dishwasher, electric-cooker/oven, fridge, chest freezer, microwave, coffee machine, kettle as well as crockery, cutlery and all other necessary kitchen utensils. The apartment has airconditioning and a wood burning stove. You have direct access to the Wellnesshut, whirlpool and pool that are on the same level.

In the garden with its magnificent views, you will find a pool, a whirlpool, and a dining area with barbecue facilities. In the wooden wellness hut you can relax in the sauna equipped with an infrared-set.

For reservations of more than 2 people, you can also rent Apartment 2. As the apartments are completely independent, the property may not be suitable for families with small children.

The owner lives a short drive away from the villa and can be contacted should there be any problems.

In the village you will find a small supermarket and two restaurants. In the farmer's market nearby you can buy seasonal fruits and vegetables. Its ideal starting point for excursions to the former abandoned village Las Fuentes, the sunny beach of Playa San Juan or the Cañadas.

The nearest golf course you will find at the Abama Hotel, 5 minutes drive from the ViVa Juan. The golf course is unique, peppered with 22 lakes and over 90,000 palm trees. Facing the sea and situated in a very peaceful area in Guía de Isora. The other golf courses such as Golf Costa Adeje, Golf de Las Americas, Golf del Sur, Amarilla Golf & Country Club as well as Golf Los Palos are also easily reached by car between 10 - 20 minutes.

For grocery shopping as well as for exploring the island we would highly recommend hiring a car. We are happy to recommend you a car hire company. Private parking spaces inside the property.

The house "ViVa Juan" is an officially recognized holiday home by the Island Council of Tenerife.

Quiet bliss away from the crowds

We loved the place and it was just what we were looking for. Don't let the steep hill towards it put you off, as it gives you the most amazing views. Away from the crowds, but close enough to local villages and walking routes. Johannes from the agency was also very helpful.

Magical views and relaxing spaces

This property to put it into a single word, wonderful. From its beautiful vistas to its gorgeous walking path and gardens, to its amazing wellness aspects. It was well rounded with all the offerings and came fully equipped for our family. At the end of the road it was quiet and afforded a slower restful time on Tenerife.

Lovely hideaway

This property was absolutely perfect for the two couples in our group. Having the villa split over two apartments which we could designate as shared or private space worked extremely well. The wellness area with the infrared sauna, the steam shower and jacuzzi along with the views out over the valley were made for a great way to unwind after each day. We really appreciated the complimentary robes also which added that little bit of a homely touch. We were a little bit sad the pool wasn’t available due to repairs but that was professionally and promptly dealt with by the management team. Note that the pool is not heated and so could be chilly in the winter months. We would definitely stay here again as it made a great base for hiking and beaches with relaxation and comfort in between.

Schönes Refugium

Sehr schönes Haus am Berg mit toller Aussicht auf La Gomera. Das Viva Juan liegt am Ende einer steilen Straße in Tejina. Von hier aus hat man nicht nur eine gute Aussicht, sondern ist auch schnell an allen interessanten Orten der Insel. Das Haus ist gepflegt und bietet viel Komfort.

Individuelle Oase zum Wohlfühlen

Das Haus und Grundstück ist einfach zum lieb haben. Alles hat Herz und Seele. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und sind nach jedem Ausflug gerne ‘nach Hause’ gekommen. Wenn etwas nicht funktionierte im Haus hat dich der Vermieter sofort gekümmert und sich auch spät am Abend noch gemeldet.

Eine Oase der Ruhe

Es ist nicht einfach, die wunderbare Atmosphäre, den Ort und den Service in kurzen Sätzen zu beschreiben. Alles passt, für die, die Ruhe , einen wunderbaren Ausblick und Entspannung suchen. Nichts für Leute, die Party oder Action vor Ort wollen. Das einzige, was etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig ist, ist das erste mal zum Haus zu fahren. Man denkt, da kommt man nicht hoch. Aber schon beim zweiten mal ist es nicht mehr schlimm. Man ist solche Steigerungen einfach nicht gewöhnt. Wir haben uns auf jeden Fall sehr wohl gefühlt und wunderschöne Tage verbracht. Und wir werden auf jeden Fall wieder kommen. Danke an Johannes für alles.

Schöner Urlaub, in einem schönen Haus.

Das Objekt entsprach genau unseren Vorstellungen. Abseits vom Massentourismus, ruhig gelegen, in einer landwirtschaftlich geprägten Lage. Ein Auto ist natürlich unbedingt erforderlich. Der Kontakt mit dem Vermieter war zu jederzeit gegeben, sollte man es wünschen. Über die routiniermäßig durchzuführende Servicemaßnahmen am Pool oder Jakuzi erfolgte immer eine rechtzeitige Information. Wir werden mit Sicherheit dieses Objekt wieder buchen.

Prachtige locatie met veel privacy en prima welness faciliteiten

We verbleven een week in Juan2, het appartement op de begane grond. Het is niet super modern maar van alle gemakken voorzien, schoon en volledig ingericht. Zelfs de badjas voor bij het gebruik van jacuzzi, sauna of zwembad ontbrak niet. Bij een boeking voor 2 personen wordt het andere appartement niet verhuurd, dus optimale privacy waarvan we iedere minuut hebben genoten. Grote indruk maakt het panoramaraam in de zitkamer van waaruit je een overweldigende blik op de zee hebt. Bij mooi weer doe je dat life op het overdekte terras. Ook moet niet onvermeld blijven dat je gratis gebruik mag maken van de eierproductie van de vijftien kippen op het terrein. Nu weten we wat echte verse eieren zijn en hoe lekker ze smaken. Gastheer Johannes en zijn vrouw Barbara zijn uiterst vriendelijk, attent en behulpzaam. Ze zijn goed bereikbaar via mail en telefoon, indien nodig. Dat wat ze beloven op de boekingssite maken ze ook waar. Misschien iets onderbelicht is het feit dat als je minder goed ter been bent, de locatie wat moeilijker te gebruiken is vanwege de natuurstenen trappen rond om het huis. Voor ons gelukkig geen probleem. Tot slot zijn mijn chauffeurskwaliteiten na deze week sterk verbeterd. De ultra steile klim naar de accommodatie is er een voor de eerste versnelling en hopen dat je niet stil valt. Maar na twee keer is ook dat prima te doen. Kortom we hebben genoten en zouden zo weer terug willen.

Perfect place to get away from it all.

The villa exceeded our expectations even with all the 5 star reviews (which it thoroughly deserves) Set up on the hill overlooking the coast and out to La Gomera, this place is tranquil, private and very beautiful. The large lanscaped terraced gardens and seating areas were brilliantly placed and gave so much choice for where to sit out depending on the time of day. The pool, jacuzzi, sauna and wet room all worked brilliantly. A fantastic holiday in a gem of a place.

Wir haben die oberhalb von Tejina gelegene Finca mit ihrem besonderen Ambiente genossen. Ruhig, wunderschön gelegen mit Aussicht auf das Meer ist es der ideale Ort zum Starten von Wanderungen auf der Insel.

Traunhafte Lage, super Ausstattung

Ein wunderschönes Haus mit grandiosen Aussichten auf La Gomera im Sonnenuntergang. Der Empfang vor Ort war - wie auch die Kommunikation zuvor - professionell und herzlich. Wir haben eine ausführliche Einweisung in alle Vorzüge des Hauses (Pool, Whirlpool, die drei Saunen) bekommen und obendrein Wandertipps. Die Ausstattung ist in einem sehr guten Zustand und was mir besonders positiv aufgefallen ist: die Handtücher sind wirklich hochwertig und flauschig. :) Wer ein paar schöne Tage abseits des Massentourismus' verbringen möchte und auf Privatsphäre Wert legt, ist hier absolut an der richtigen Adresse.

Exclusieve rust

Heerlijke locatie voor een weekje op Tenerife. Ver genoeg weg van toeristenoorden, zodat je van de echte vakantierust kan genieten. Je hebt wel een auto nodig, en maak vooral gebruik van de upgrade-aanbiedingen van (bijna alle) autoverhuurders voor een pittiger motor, want die heb je in dit steile gebied zeker nodig. Het huis is van alle gemakken voorzien. Onze ideale dagindeling: uitslapen, ontbijten, op stap, in de middag terug, en dan siësta houden en af en toe even 'dippen' in het zwembad. Ook de jacuzzi, stoombad en sauna waren een traktatie... Dat hou je wel een weekje vol... De dienstverlening van Barbara en Johannes was voortrefffelijk. Onze terugvlucht was laat op de dag, maar omdat het huis niet aansluitend verhuurd was mochten we blijven tot het eind van de middag. De schoonmaak kwam dan maar een dagje later...

Ein wunderschönes Haus mit allem Luxus, den wir uns gewünscht haben. Traumhafte Lage, fantastische Aussicht, absolut ruhig und viel Natur rundum. Wir haben die Annehmlichkeiten des Jacuzzis, des Pools und des Dampfbades sehr genossen. Die Betreuung durch Barbara war einfach perfekt (Im Vorfeld und während des Aufenthaltes). Die große Hilfsbereitschaft hat uns nachhaltig beeindruckt und ist in der heutigen Zeit keine Selbstverständlichkeit! Kurzum: Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Urlaub auf Teneriffa von dem wir noch lange erzählen können.

Beautiful property and house for those seeking privacy, stillness and relax.

We absolutely will be back. We loved that it was remote and yet close to everything on the island. The spa was a super bonus. The house is well kept, you can feel the care and love in many details in- and outside. It has everything you need (even a cooler for the beach) not just the minimum stuff you find usually in rental places. It is very generous and forthcoming that the owners don’t rent the second apartment so that we had our privacy. we experienced a warm welcome and they were always present in case we had questions. Because the weather was so so, I could enjoy the hot tub but we didn’t get to enjoy all the cozy outside sitting areas even though we had few times breakfast outside facing the rising sun. We hope for a more sunny island the next time. The sunsets are spectacular. The bed is very comfortable and we slept very good. As said we will definitely be back in this cozy home away from home. Oase der Stille im Paradies mit Fernblick. Super Service der Vermieter. Wohlfühlen pur.

Wir haben uns sauwohl gefühlt. Das Haus war super gemütlich bei Tag und bei Nacht. Im österreichischen Stil strahlt es eine urige Ruhe aus, besonders wenn der Kamin am Abend vor sich hin knistert. Die Saunaanlagen funktionierten auf Anhieb. Die Vermieter waren ansprechbar und kümmerten sich sofort bei Anliegen. Diese absolute Stille in der Finka erlauben ein "zu sich kommen" wie sonst selten. Sogar die Betten waren bestens ausgestattet. Wir konnten unsere mitgebrachte Decke im Koffer lassen. Abseits des Tourismus in einer Sackgasse auf dem Berg eines Dorfes ist man trotzdem schnell über die bestens ausgebaute Verkehrsanbindung auf dem Teide sowie am Strand. Das ganze Haus ist mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet und sehr auf Funktionalität bedacht. Phantastisch, um komplett abzuschalten und sich selbst genug zu sein und die gewaltigen Natureindrücke von Teneriffa sacken zu lassen. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder, haben uns so wohl gefühlt wie noch nie in einem Ferienhaus und sind immer noch berauscht. Ganz herzlichen Dank an Familie Weichselberger, Alexandra und Georg

Nach der Ankunft wurden wir herzlich empfangen und sorgfältig eingewiesen. Es hat alles unseren Erwartungen entsprochen, so dass wir unseren Aufenthalt genießen konnten. Als Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen bestens geeignet. Ein Ort an den man gern noch einmal zurück kommt.
