The Friendship House - for 2 Couples in the Pines

CLEAN & CRISP ENTIRE HOME nestled in the Ponderosa Pines, only 2.3 miles from the Courthouse Square. The "Friendship House" is a perfect home for couples to share (bedrooms & bathrooms are opposite ends of home) You'll feel tucked away, yet close enough to all of Prescott's small town attractions. Located in a quaint, quiet section of town with mostly seasonal residents. Enjoy the clean mountain air as you sip coffee on the back patio or an evening glass of wine on the spacious front deck.
The space
The third bedroom has a daybed with a trundle, so it's a perfect spot for the kids! All hard-surface floors make this entire home CLEAN! Comfortable new beds, luxurious spa robes, cozy reading spots, fast Wi-Fi and a Smart-TV, full kitchen, bring you all the comforts of a Home-Away-From-Home. Designer touches throughout will make you want to book your next stay even before you leave!!
Guests have access to the entire home (no garage access); keyless entry.

There is a sealed gas fireplace that is so easy to operate! The thermostat is located on the wall near the Queen Bedroom #1. The pilot light stays on during the cooler months and is totally safe. Fireplace is not operable during the warmer months.
Licensed Massage Therapist is available to come to The Friendship House for a relaxing 60 or 90 minute massage. Message Host for details & availability.
Hot water is plentiful - it just takes a bit longer to get to the kitchen sink...please be patient, it will arrive!

Washer & Dryer are not included because the space is so small and awkward.
However, you're welcome to use the machines as a courtesy, but we would appreciate you not give a negative review based on the laundry room.

If you are in need of an early Check-In, please ask and we will try our best to accommodate you! Please note, Check-Out time is at 11 am on the day of your departure; we need this time for our housekeeping staff to prepare for the next guests.

As a guest you have the access to the entire home, with the exception of the garage.

PLEASE NOTE: DURING WINTER Months, there is a chance for snow… Host does not provide snow removal… Host does provide a snow shovel, a rubber squeegee broom to remove snow from the front deck, and also ice melt, if it is available locally.

Please Note: We cater to people with allergies, as we have a strenuous cleaning process...Due to Owners Allergies with animals; we are unable to accommodate any service animals, ESAs or pets. We apologize for any inconvenience and are happy to recommend animal friendly places in Prescott.

4th of Jult Getaway

We had an amazing time spending the 4th of July in Prescott with family and having the ability to attend our first rodeo!! The Friendship House was a perfect retreat. Very clean, quiet and relaxing. Would definitely recommend!!

Perfect stay!

I value these reviews as one of ho frequently uses VRBO so know when I say this little place was perfect - it really was!! The owner was quick to respond to any questions I had. The location is perfect because it’s close to town but also nestled into the pines where you wake up to having coffee with deer strolling through the backyard. The house is nicely decorated and very clean!! Would definitely stay here again!

This property is perfect in every way. Split plan is perfect if its two couples or you brought your children. Beautifully decorated and spotless. We couldn't be happier! Also close to town.

Quiet, clean and cozy

Great neighborhood. Only a few minute drive from downtown but feels like you are farther out. Easy check in and great communication with host. We were in town for a softball tournament and this was our first time ever renting a house rather than a hotel. If we ever return to Prescott we would definitely try to get this rental!

Convenience & comfort!

Our stay at the Friendship House was filled with ease, comfort & fun. It was so great to be so close to downtown Prescott (5 min drive), but also so comfortable and peaceful to be tucked up into the Mountain Club neighborhood. The house was so clean, bright and easy to check-in, stay & check-out. We had such a great experience- they have thought of everything- we will definitely be back! :)

Just Perfect!

There are so many things about this house to love. First impression was how easy everything was to manage, check in and out. The house is adorable, clean, and has a sweet history to it. There were so many touches that make it extra special like a fully stocked coffee station, robes, great quality bedding and towels. The house is a short drive to a grocery store and the adorable town square. Nice neighborhood and really felt like home.

Paradise in the Ponderosa Pines!

This property was exactly as advertised, and we could not have been happier with our choice. The house was very clean, cutely decorated and had every amenity you could want. The location was was perfect, just far enough from town that it felt secluded. My family owned property in Big Bear, CA and it felt very similar in that woodsy way. The owner was very responsive when a slight incident came up and it was remedied quickly. I highly recommend this property and will be back next time we’re in town! Above and beyond!

Not only was this property even more stunning than the photos with all of the natural light and forest views, but the owners went above and beyond to accommodate some last minute travel changes after I ran into a snag on the first night of my stay. When we eventually made it up to Prescott, I was delighted to see that the house was immaculate, the decor was lovely, and the house was equipped with everything we could need on our stay. The owners even put together a booklet with their personal recommendations for restaurants, coffee houses, hiking trails, etc! Overall this was the most charming and relaxing place I could have stayed, and I will definitely make sure this property is available for me to stay again when I plan my next trip to Prescott!

Adorable and comfortable

Loved everything about this wonderful home. Quaint decorating, everything was included, quietly tucked away location convenient to grocery and gas but just off busyness of the square. Sue was attentive and charming. Friendly history of this home is heartwarming. Just had a wonderful experience overall, and hope to be back next year. It's so worth it!

Wonderful stay!

“The Friendship House” was all of that and SO much more! From the personal welcome to the many little extras, Sue was quite attentive to our every need.
