This is the perfect spot to stay in Olde Town Arvada. I stayed alone for a month. Walked miles and miles every day. Always felt safe. Lots of entertainment and exercise opportunities at the park next door. Great bars and restaurants in walking distance. Hosts were attentive and helpful. Hope to visit again soon. Thank you!

This space was super small. The bathroom door wouldn't close and the mini split heater air conditioner didn't work. The electric heater in the room was set on the floor and shook the floor and the bed and also super loud. Location was the only part of the stay that made it enjoyable.

Thank you for taking the time to leave feedback. We always appreciate the opportunity to provide clarity for future guests.
This unit is a micro studio (approximately 150 square feet), which is clearly and repeatedly communicated in our listing description, booking confirmation, and pre-arrival messages. We go to great lengths to ensure guests fully understand the size of the space before booking, as it is intentionally designed for travelers who enjoy a cozy, minimalist, tiny-home-style experience. Many guests, including long-term stays of several months, have found it to be comfortable, functional, and enjoyable.
Regarding the heating and cooling, the unit is equipped with a fully functioning mini-split system, and an additional space heater is always provided as a supplemental option. The space heater is normally positioned on a table beside the bed. If it was moved to the floor, that would have occurred during the guest’s stay. At no point during the stay were we contacted about any issues with heating, noise, doors, or comfort. We always encourage guests to reach out immediately so we can address any concerns in real time.
As noted in our listing, this is a historic property built in 1899, thoughtfully renovated to maintain its original character while providing modern amenities. While the building reflects its historic charm, we work very hard to keep the space clean, comfortable, and well-maintained for our guests.
We are glad the guest enjoyed the location, and we remain committed to providing a transparent, comfortable, and welcoming experience for travelers who appreciate historic properties and micro-living accommodations.
I provided feed ack on check out day. We had an extended stay so our suggestions may not apply to a one-nighter.
1) TV often did not have sound
2) The front door does not close all the way
3) The heatingn/air condition unit needs to be cleaned and filter replaced
4) The room is cool all the time (except when hot outside) and kitchen and bath towels do not dry

It was a pleasure hosting this guest and they have provided some helpful feedback. To offer some more insight, here is some information other guests may find helpful:
1) We were made aware that the guest was experiencing this TV sound issue. We went to the apartment during their stay to try and help, and found that the TV sound was working properly. Sometimes, when watching YouTube TV, when you come back to the app after watching a movie or something similar, it will not automatically open to a channel and will therefore not have any sound until you select the program you'd like to watch.
2) We have a little screen door that is original to this historic farmhouse property (1889), and it is simply a swinging door and does not necessarily close like more modern doors. That is why we have the main front door behind it that does close, lock, etc.
3) The filter is routinely cleaned in the air conditioning/heating unit when the seasons change, so while it shouldn't have been in bad condition, it will be getting its routine cleaning soon. We are also happy to announce that we'll soon be replacing the window HVAC unit with a new mini split system.
4) Being an older building, the room stays well-insulated during the summer. If the temperature does drop below a comfortable temperature, please feel free to adjust the temperature on the air conditioning/heating unit. The heat does work well during any season.
Hopefully this guest utilized the dryers on the property that are brand new as of August 2022, and hopefully they're working well. We weren't made aware of any issues with the dryers. It may take a bit longer to dry towels if line drying them in the apartment instead.
Overall, it would have been helpful for us to receive some of this communication during the guest's stay when we checked in to see if they needed anything.
We could have offered some solutions for drying their towels and even changed the air conditioning/heating filter if we had known it was bothering them. We want everyone to enjoy our little space just as much as we do, and we always strive to ensure that they do, so please don't hesitate to reach out!

Why they chose this property
I'm a Colorado native, and was born and raised in Arvada. It has a special place in my heart and I've enjoyed seeing the city grow and welcome new residents over the last few years. Olde Town Arvada is a unique area with so much to see and do, as well as a rich history that you can really feel as you walk down each street.
I was overjoyed when I came across this unit, as it has given me the opportunity to share some of Olde Town Arvada's magic with you. Built in 1889, this unit is part of a building that was originally used as a farmhouse, with the original main house still on the property, being used as a commercial building.
It's right down from the Olde Town Arvada light rail station and offers so many opportunities for those looking to stay in the area. I'm happy to be able to provide this amazing experience for others.
What makes this property unique
This unit is uniquely situated in downtown Olde Town Arvada, one block from all of the shopping and dining. However, its peaceful surroundings make it seem like you're still on the farm in 1889 next to the train tracks. The large tree in front of the unit provides shade in the summer and protection from rain and snow in the winter.
