Welcome to Room 5!

This is one of our 4 cozy queen single rooms. Room 5 is upstairs on the West facing side of the property.Along with a comfortable queen bed, room 5 has a futon sleeper that can accommodate either a child or adult under 5'8". A coffee table sits in front of the futon to hold your favorite beverage or take out dinner. There is also aside chair near the bedand a 43" smart TV.Room 5 is the only room with a lovely natural wood headboard, which really adds to the cozy mountain feel of the space. There isa full bath with a stand up shower that is fully stocked with all the essentials.The room is also equipped with a microwave, mini fridge, coffee maker, and smart TV.

Room 5 also adjoins to room 6 which is one of our kitchenette suites that sleeps 6. If you would like to book both rooms, please send us a message PRIOR to booking to ensure availability.

Super great place to stay visiting Red River NM.

Atmosphere was great, beds way comfortable, amenities exactly what we needed…beautiful area fun watching the humming birds and deer right outside room 12… Clay & Chris are amazing Hosts!!! I highly recommend Mountain View Lodge ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Perfect spot for our quick trip to the area. Pet friendly is always a must, for us. The property has an outside area with chairs and a fire pit, to relax after a day of activity. It is located on the edge of town so we didn't have any associated noise from being right in the middle of things. The on site employee was very helpful and friendly. Would stay here again.

Red River 1st time visit

Exploring area. Good hiking. Went to Michael Martin Murphy concert and chuck wagon meal and enjoyed the 3 days. Met owner of property very friendly. Thanks for the stay!

Beautiful views

Beautiful views sitting outside around the fire pit! Room was ok, small but as described, clean, good location, felt safe, outdoor fire pit and outdoor games were nice to have available, room included microwave and mini fridge. We were there during a hot period and there's no ac, just a fan, we opened the door to try and cool off the room enough to sleep. Normally that's not an issue for this area but if going in the summer, be prepared if it does get hot like it did when we were there!

Half mile walk into town

We planned last minute for our trip to red river and this meet our needs for a location where we could walk into town with our 2 dogs. Worked well for us.

It was a beautiful stay! just a heads up for others coming the walls are a bit thin and the vents seem to be connected well enough to very clearly hear your neighbors using the microwave at 6am or their TV through the night. Totally understand there isn't much they can do about that, however bringing ear plugs may be a good idea!

I know it’s not uncommon for a NM condo not to have ac but boy was it hot yesterday. The fan did help but was still quite miserable till the wee hours of the morning. Overall still a decent stay.

Clean and Cozy

We loved our stay! They were very welcoming and left a nice personalized note with snacks. Completely unexpected and very nice! The room was very small and I think the shower is probably the smallest one I’ve ever used. However, it was still very comfortable and everything was clean. Also, I’ve never seen as many hummingbirds in my life! I’ve been coming to Red River for over 20 years and have never seen the amount that hang out here.

Christina provided great feedback and was able to join the 2 other families on our trip next to us for our ski trip, which was greatly appreciated. The property was clean and provided what we needed.
