Just a 15 minute drive to world famous Brule River. Centrally located near local attractions in Duluth, Madeline Island, Hayward, etc.

Pool/Ping Pong table on lower level. Pedal boat and 2 kayaks provided for warm weather activities. Desktop computer available for guest use along with wi-fi. Peloton bike with access to live classes.

Notable Area Attractions:

Spider Lake is known for its fishing and the area off of cabin's private dock is the best area on the lake to fish.

Brule River, a famous trout stream, is only 8 miles away for canoeing, kayaking and fishing.

During the summer months, the area offers a host of road biking and world-class mountain biking. When the season's change, enjoy the winter wonderland by cross-country ski at After Hours Trail in Brule.

Make the 45-mile drive West to discover the wonders of Duluth. Go for a stroll along the Lake walk, across Aerial Lift Bridge, and through Canal Park, all before delving into local breweries, such as Hoops, Bent Paddle Brewing Co, and Canal Park Brewing Company.

Forty-Five miles North brings you to Bayfield, where you'll enjoy easy access to Madeline Island and the Apostle Islands National Lakeshore of Lake Superior, enjoy live shows during the summer at Big Top Chautauqua, and experience intimate fine dining at Wild Rice.

A few things to note:

1) A welcome email will be sent before check in with more information regarding the Cabin.

2) Parking: There is one garage space provided. Driveway is big enough to accommodate large RVs, trailers, etc. Please limit number of vehicles/trailers parked on driveway to four.

3) Boat Launch: There is no public boat launch on Spider Lake. The only guest access is by backing a trailer down to our private dock from the driveway. It is approximately a 10% grade from the driveway. We have never had a problem with getting our own boats/jet skis into the water; however, please inquire in advance if you have any concerns or questions. There is also a public launch to the Pike Lake chain located 5 miles from the cabin across from Hyde's on County Hwy H.

OUTDOOR LIVING: Spacious deck with patio seating, gas grill, 2 kayaks, pedal boat, private dock (Dock and water boats are typically not available from mid Sept-April)

INDOOR LIVING: Smart TV, DVDs, puzzles, ceiling fans, fireplace, (firewood not provided.)

KITCHEN: Fully equipped w/ cooking basics, microwave, stove/oven, keurig coffee maker with k-cups (starter pack), and dishwasher.

GENERAL: Free WiFi, towels & linens, shampoo, body soap, cleaning essentials, high-speed fiberoptic internet, WFH friendly. Washer and dryer is available.

Guests are responsible for bringing their own beach towels, coffee, food and beverages and personal toiletries (toothpaste, etc.)

PARKING: Driveway (2 vehicles), Additional Parking Spots

Maximum occupancy: Overnight guests allowed is 10. 12 guests is maximum occupancy on property at one time.

PETS: No pets are allowed on the property. For allergy purposes please note that the cabin is not dander free.

SECURITY CAMERA INFORMATION:
Your safety matters. Security cameras for insurance purposes and safety are located on the premises. Ring devices record audio/visual. Outdoor cameras overlook access points including driveway, upstairs deck access and basement level patio door, and lake. They do not look into interior spaces.

RENTAL AGREEMENT:
Primary guest will be required to send a copy of a govt issued ID, sign rental agreement and fill out guest registration card within 72 hours of receiving documents in order to secure booking. If these items are not received, owners have the right to cancel the booking.

Guest access
Access to any area in the cabin except the workroom, garage located on the lower level, and owner’s private office in the loft next to the kitchen.

Towels (for indoor use only. Please provide your own beach towels for outside use)
Washer/Dryer located in downstairs laundry room

Pack and play available upon request for guests with infants/toddlers
Highchair in kitchen for small children
A landline phone for guests to use during their stay. No pay-per-call calls are allowed and collect calls may NOT be accepted.
Propane grill located just outside of the door by the kitchen. If you empty the tank please put in the garage and notify us so we can get it refilled for future guests.

THINGS TO BRING: Sunscreen, toiletries (toothpaste) bug spray, food, beverages, seasonings and condiments. (Public health in Bayfield county does not allow shared condiments, seasoning or shared containers.) Beach towels for swimming, do not use indoor cabin towels. Firewood is not provided.
WHAT IS OFFERED: hand towels, bath towels, bedding and linens, hand soap, dish soap, toilet paper, paper towels and garbage bags. We offer starter packs of these supplies, for longer stays you may need to pick up more.
