The perfect location and amenities for a snowmobile trip. Plenty of parking for trucks and trailers. 1/2 mile from trail and town. The host Kira is super responsive and accommodating. Highly recommended!!
Our extended family was having a milestone celebration at our family property in the area, and this property was the perfect place for our immediate family to have our own space during our stay.
The home was clean and ready for a family stay. The stocked spice cabinet really helped for cooking family meals. The space outdoors was excellent for the kids and dogs to explore. We enjoyed the board games provided and the small town only a 1/2 mile away. We would definitely stay here again!
Quiet & secluded property for relaxing with a direct view of the river. 1/2 mile to town with direct access to UTV trails/main corridor, restaurants & bars. The home was spotless & comfortable-great for a group of adults enjoying the area. Thank you for hosting!
Our host Kira is top notch! Very easy to work with and so accommodating. The house was great and the VIEW was enchanting. The house was just a few blocks from the main snowmobile trails and easy to get to from the house. We had two trucks with sled trailers so there was good parking space for it all. Fantastic place to experience the amazing trails of Wisconsin. Did NOT disappoint. We will be back again. Thank you!
Kira was extremely easy to work with, very responsive to answer my questions. She came out to throw down some grit on the sidewalk and parking area, as she noticed they were a little slippery earlier, and gave us some real good suggestions on where to eat in the area, all were excellent suggestions. The house is awesome, wet well stocked with pans and the like. We had 5 of us there for snowmobiling and it worked out very well, never felt cramped. It is very close to the trails and has plenty of parking with trailers. Plenty of good viewing of the river and the wildlife that goes with it, lots of deer. I can only imagine how beautiful this place is, in all seasons. We will be back to stay again as this is a real gem! Thanks for the opportunity to stay at this amazing place!Greg
This property is wonderful. All the amenities and close proximity to Hwy 2. Perfect Basecamp for day trips or a long relaxing stay.
We won't hesitate to return.
We enjoyed our stay, the weather was perfect for the waterfalls tour. Very much enjoyed the peace and serenity of the property. Something to consider, putting trends on the stairs and a water purification system. The water has strong sulfur smell and lack of water pressure
Place was easy to find, close to town but secluded, nice surroundings. Kind of outdated furniture in the bedrooms which wasn’t a big deal. Felt like a cabin. Biggest issue was the water. Strong sulfur smell to the water. Had to bring in bottled water. Didn’t feel totally clean after a shower due to the water. Otherwise we liked it

Hi Joshua.
I'm sorry the water was an issue for you. The house is fed by a minerally rich well. The water is tested by the county and safe for consumption. We do have an under sink water filter for drinking water, to remove any unwanted odor or taste. It is just to the left of the faucet in the kitchen sink.
Thanks for staying with us!
I'm an originally from Monterey, California and moved to this area in 2021. My husband grew up in Northern Minnesota and Wisconsin
Why they chose this property
This was my husband's family home that they built when they moved to Iron River in the mid-80's. My favorite things about this location ate the big trees, river, serenity and yet close to town.
What makes this property unique
It's quite and peaceful but also close to town, trails and many outdoor activities.
