About this property

Maison 1505 | Authentic 16th-century shipowner’s house in the city center

🏡 Conciergerie Rémi Griffoul presents an authentic 16th-century shipowner's house

✨ House full of character and history | Historic center of Honfleur | 4 people

Treat yourself to a real escape from time in the very heart of Honfleur’s historic center. Located between Place Sainte Catherine and Maison Satie, this authentic shipowner’s house from the early 16th century invites you to discover Honfleur in a different way.

Here, you do not stay in a new or impersonal house. You have an experience. A house with a soul, a story, walls that have seen centuries go by and have so much to tell. The charm, authenticity, and old character are an essential part of this place.

The house has about 100 sqm spread over three levels, connected by an old spiral staircase, narrow and full of charm, that wraps around a real ship mast from the period. This fascinating and rare detail is a direct witness to Honfleur’s maritime history and the spirit of this old shipowner’s house.
This type of architecture, typical of old port houses, gives the place all its charm, but means the house is not suitable for people with reduced mobility.

Although it has been carefully renovated—new kitchen, modern bathrooms, up-to-date equipment—the house keeps its original spirit. The floors, spaces, stairs, and period features were kept to preserve the soul of the place. It is important that every guest is fully aware of this before booking.

Perfect for a getaway as a couple, with family or friends, the house can comfortably welcome up to 4 guests, just steps from the harbor, art galleries, and Honfleur’s best addresses.

🧺 Bed linen and towels included
Bed and bath linen are provided for a worry-free stay.
