We had an excellent fortnight in this unique property with a rural location. Everything you see on the photos are accurate or even better. Ac in the bedrooms was brilliant. The pool was wonderful for us but would easily suit 2 families. The host was as present as you wanted or needed. The nearby village of Cadouin was beautiful. Of course the Dordogne was stunning. There are plenty of supermarkets 10-15 mins drive away. We had the most wonderful time away and would definitely return.

Wir haben als eine Gruppe mit 6 Erwachsenen im Juli 2026 eine schöne Woche in diesem Haus verbracht. Besonders positiv ist uns die Freundlichkeit und Hilfsbereitschaft der Vermieters, der gleich nebenan wohnt, aufgefallen.Die Lage des Grundstücks ist sehr ländlich; der nächste Ort Cadouin ist in ein paar Minuten mit dem Auto erreichbar. Das Haus selbst ist geräumig und vollständig ausgestattet. Die Bäder sind klein, aber neu und sauber. Das Wohnzimmer ist nicht mit einer Klimaanlage versehen und die Sofas haben auch schon bessere Tage gesehen. Aufgrund der Architektur des Hauses würden wir einen Aufenthalt für zwei Paare empfehlen. Ein Schlafzimmer befindet sich im 1. Stock des Hauses; ein Anderes besitzt einen separaten Eingang von aussen. Jedes dieser beiden Schlafzimmer ist mit einem kleinen Bad ausgestattet, das für je zwei Personen vollkommen ausreichend ist.Die übrigen beiden Schlafzimmer haben keine eigene Tür und sind nur über eine Wendeltreppe erreichbar (in einem nur durch ein weiteres Schlafzimmer), was deren Nutzbarkeit stark einschränkt.Der grosse Pool, hauptsächlich mit Salzwasser gefüllt, bietet auch Schwimmern ausreichend Platz. Die vier Liegen sind komfortabel und auch leicht zu bewegen. Der Pool liegt auf der Rückseite des Hauses und erfordert so einen kurzen Spaziergang. Während unseres Aufenthalts war es sehr heiß. Wir hätten uns einen schattigen Platz direkt vor dem Haus gewünscht.
