What a lovely cottage! The hosts has thoughtfully put their personality into the furnishings and decor. Prior to our stay the host sent us a list of places to eat and things to doin the area. This helped us plan our stay. Once we arrived, we found a bouquet of tulips and a bottle of wine for us to enjoy for our anniversary. Wonderful visit!
This studio was a very nice place to stay. Sufficiently stocked and well laid out so it felt roomy and comfortable. Walking distance to downtown Brunswick and the college providing easy access to restaurants, coffee, theater, museums and more.Owners were readily available, if needed, very kind and knowledgeable of all Brunswick has to offer. I recommend staying here.
Was just about perfect for our needs. Easy driving distances to Portland and other Maine attractions (we really enjoyed the Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens)

Perfect alternative to the area's hotels and inns.
Very sweet, comfy, and perfectly located cottage in town. Owners could not have been nicer and more helpful, and I have nothing but great things to say about my 5 nights here.
Cottage is charming, quiet, well located and very well appointed. Our hostess was welcoming and friendly. She made sure that we had everything we needed to make our stay a pleasure.
We enjoyed a wonderful short stay at Susan’s cottage —- had everything we needed; so comfortable and well-appointed; lots of thoughtful touches; close proximity to downtown —- and best of all was getting to know our host, who was delightful! … thank you, Susan!
This is the second year we have stayed here and enjoy it immensely. Walkable to town and a wonderful host.

Wonderful hosts and property. Very peaceful neighborhood in great walking distance to town and college. Perfect cottage: very comfortable and nicely decorated. Highly recommend!
Had a great time at the cottage during parents weekend at Bowdoin. Perfect location walking distance to college and downtown. Comfortable accommodations and lovely hosts. Will be back!
We stayed at this adorable cottage during graduation weekend '24. It was so convenient to everything, and super quiet, well-appointed, clean and comfortable. It was perfect for our needs over the graduation weekend.
We are a couple of art historians who have been fortunate to work and play in two wonderful places: Maine and the South of France, where we have been involved in an archaeological excavation on a medieval site for many years and have enjoyed teaching art history at the University of Maine for decades as well as run a sheep farm for 20 years. We both love the ocean, the small farms, the architectural and historical heritage and the generous and creative people of this region and have worked to help preserve the land and heritage here, and the vibrant and diverse communities around us.
Why they chose this property
After living on a salt-water farm outside town for many years, we moved into town so we could walk to places and enjoy the many cultural riches of the greater Brunswick area in retirement. We have a delightful guest house and are happy to be able to offer guests many of the same benefits to being in Brunswick that we enjoy.
What makes this property unique
A private and quiet home base yet being able to walk to many places, whether to shop at the farmers' market, or walk to a restaurant for dinner or a drink or café latte is a great advantage. There are aways new things to see at the museums and galleries and it is fun to peruse the two bookstores in town or check out the Cabot Mill Antiques shops. And it is not far in the car to get to beautiful natural settings for great walks, picnics or swimming and places for watching sunsets and star-gazing after dark. The vibrant city of Portland is close enough to take in the art and fashion scene and going to a show, a concert, or one of the many highly-rated restaurants, and generally enjoying the nightlife there, is very doable from our place.
