Summer Getaway at Rocky Mountain National Park

The home could be exceptional with some repairs and maintenance. The carpet had numerous stains, the water heater was old and not adequate for showers for our party of 6. The thermostat/heating needs attention, the king bed mattress needs replaced, the yard need some TLC. The doors and windows need attention. The game room was great and we loved the elk visitors one morning. We'd love to stay here again if updates are made.

Overall, the house was in a great location in Estes Park. The kitchen was well stocked and there was plenty of space for bigger parties including activity/game space in garage. Downsides: Carpeting is old and stained, blinds are broken in various rooms emitting morning light, bed in master is sagging and pillows could be updated.

Loved our stay here. The location was great (even an elk on the lawn when we arrived) and the inside was so spacious. We had more than enough room to spread out and the game room in the garage was an added bonus!

The location is great, the layout is convenient, but the house is in desperate need of maintenance and upkeep. The windows barely open, blinds and screens are falling apart, faucets and toilets leak, two of range burners did not work.

It’s a huge disappointment to receive a 4 star review, so I reached out to this guest to see what we could do better for future guests. We pride ourselves on your stay at this home for many reasons, but mostly because it is your vacation and we want you to be happy! The following is the response I got: “No reason really. We liked the house and the location! Only thing you might get more kitchen towels. We could only find one. But everything else was great!”. When you arrive at the house you check in with a text message. Guests have my phone number to let me know any need or question about the house or Estes. I was disappointed to only get 4 stars, but will keep working hard to make this home a nice stay.

2 night stay. Home was very clean and appeared just like the pictures. There was plenty of room to stretch out. We did call maintnance once because we didn't have hot water. They never called back, but we saw we overloooked instructions in the manual to the fuse box to turn on the hot ater heater and all was good. We brought steaks up to grill but ended up cooking inside- Grill could use an update. Overall, nice place to visit Estes Park. Kitchen was fully stocked and all amenities were great.

Nestled in a quiet neighborhood, easy access to everything!

We loved it!! It was perfect for our family of 5. We didn’t want to leave and would definitely stay again! Only suggestion would be a pair of Adirondack chairs on the back patio to enjoy your coffee or watch the sun sets.
