About this property

Welcome to the SANDY FEET RETREAT!

Welcome to the Sandy Feet Retreat in Surfside Beach!

We provide a great place to vacation with your family, and offer 2 bedrooms and 2 full baths, with all new furniture and beds to sleep 8 people. Small dogs are welcome, but MUST be registered and pet fee paid.

There are many things to do within just a few minutes . . . and the beach is included! ;)
It is just a mile away!

If you enjoy fishing, there is a BRAND NEW fishing pier just a few blocks away. If you are a golfer, the nearest course is just 7 minutes away.

The master bedroom features a spacious closet and a King-sized bed. This condo also has a fun spiral staircase leading to an upstairs bedroom that kids love. If you like to cook, there is a full kitchen with all-new stainless steel appliances (oven even has an air fryer) and granite countertops. Of course, we also offer the necessary coffee station with both a Keurig and traditional glass carafe system, with coffee, creamer, sugar, etc. provided.

We offer super-fast Internet with an AX3000 Wi-Fi 6 router, a Google Nest thermostat, and 3 Smart TVs that feature hundreds of viewing options. The 65" TV in the living room features a sound bar and all local TV channels. A washer/dryer combo unit is provided, along with complementary detergent pods for your convenience. Assigned parking is directly in front of the entry door. Beach chairs, Boogie Boards, and a variety of beach toys are available in the downstairs storage room for our guests. When you sit out on the back deck, you can enjoy a view of the pond and fountain below. There are lots of water turtles . . . who will eat whatever they are fed. ;) The property also features a communal pool--accessible via the provided pool key card--and an outdoor grilling area.

Rating us at 1 star out of 5 totally blew our minds! WHY?!!! There was not one complaint, question, suggestion, or reason as to why it should not be 5/5! We have no idea why, nor how to fix whatever bothered this guest!!! And they stayed for a full month with not a single message or complaint.

While a good proximity to things, the unit itself was not clean, we had issues with the thermostat and tv operation, and dryer overheated (called the fire department to check it out)

Guests had trouble with the Google Nest thermostat when they arrived, and we immediately sent simple directions. Guests did not address any other issues until last day of week-long stay when they had trouble with dryer and asked for partial refund (which we denied). They did not mention issue with cleaning or anything else until then as well. We have had our cleaners for 2 years with no complaints. They send us pictures after every cleaning. Guest never addressed either Smart TV, but when we inspected the condo after this guest's departure, everything was working correctly (including the dryer). Incidentally, we have now purchased and installed a NEW full-size Samsung washer and dryer (see picture).

Relaxing vacations

Great vacation home with everything you need and more. I was really impressed since we had a short stay at Michelle’s home and I couldn’t ask for anything better. This place was very clean and the neighborhood was quiet and relaxing. Michelle is very fast at communicating if any issues occur. We would definitely stay here again in the future.

Communication was top notch for months prior and during working with me to book this condo. Place was beautiful. Only gave 4 stars for location bc its not walking distance to beach but very close to other things to enjoy. I will state i wasnt to fond or spiral stairs but kids was good with them. Beautiful place and would book it again.
