Welcome to the SANDY FEET RETREAT!

Welcome to the Sandy Feet Retreat in Surfside Beach!

We provide a great place to vacation with your family, and offer 2 bedrooms and 2 full baths, with all new furniture and beds to sleep 8 people. Small dogs are welcome, but MUST be registered and pet fee paid.

There are many things to do within just a few minutes . . . and the beach is included! ;)
It is just a mile away!

If you enjoy fishing, there is a BRAND NEW fishing pier just a few blocks away. If you are a golfer, the nearest course is just 7 minutes away.

The master bedroom features a spacious closet and a King-sized bed. This condo also has a fun spiral staircase leading to an upstairs bedroom that kids love. If you like to cook, there is a full kitchen with all-new stainless steel appliances (oven even has an air fryer) and granite countertops. Of course, we also offer the necessary coffee station with both a Keurig and traditional glass carafe system, with coffee, creamer, sugar, etc. provided.

We offer super-fast Internet with an AX3000 Wi-Fi 6 router, a Google Nest thermostat, and 3 Smart TVs that feature hundreds of viewing options. The 65" TV in the living room features a sound bar and all local TV channels. A new full-size washer & dryer is provided, along with complementary detergent pods for your convenience. Assigned parking is directly in front of the entry door. Beach chairs, Boogie Boards, and a variety of beach toys are available in the downstairs storage room for our guests. When you sit out on the back deck, you can enjoy a view of the pond and fountain below. There are lots of water turtles . . . who will eat whatever they are fed. ;) The property also features a communal pool--accessible via the provided pool key card--and an outdoor grilling area.

We had a wonderful stay! The house was spotless, everything was well organized. The only small issue we noticed was that the lock on the downstairs bathroom wasn’t working, The host was very friendly, easy to reach, and responsive whenever we had a question. We’d definitely recommend this place and would be happy to stay here again!

Rating us at 1 star out of 5 totally blew our minds! WHY?!!! There was not one complaint, question, suggestion, or reason as to why it should not be 5/5! We have no idea why, nor how to fix whatever bothered this guest!!! And they stayed for a full month with not a single message or complaint.

This started off as a great experience as Michelle was very communicative and responsive to my questions. I’ve rented a lot of beach houses, but this was my first experience with this site. When we got to the house, the first thing we noticed was how filthy the carpets were. Next we had to order supplies as there weren’t any extra paper towels, trash bags, toilet paper, or even a kitchen sponge or dish soap. The key to the trash and pool wasn’t left by the house keepers. We messaged the owners and they called us and told us where to find the extra pool/trash card and some hand towels because those weren’t left either. Next we noticed 2 chairs were broken. We let the owners know. We had a few good days then the lady downstairs told us the front door was broken and that she had been calling the HOA for 3 weeks to try and get it fixed. Next, we were out to lunch and the owner called us asking if we broke the lock because apparently the lady downstairs told them that we did! We didn’t! We left this place better than when we got there! By this point, the rental experience had been nothing but stressful so we wrote to the owners to ask for a small refund to make up for the crappy experience. We were ignored. We are now writing this review to warn others. This wasn’t a great rental experience. When you rent a beach house you expect it to be clean and comfortable. It wasn’t.

Although the carpets were left dirty by a previous guests, we had professional carpet cleaners come out to service the carpets at their earliest convenience. The pool pass was also left by the previous guest, but we rectified this immediately, getting them a replacement within a few minutes. One chair WAS broken by this guest, as it was NOT broken when checked prior to their arrival. This was reported as already bring broken days later. Not a big deal; this is why we have insurance. There is an ongoing dispute as to who broke the front door lock (neighbor says guest broke it), but again, we have insurance for things like this. We hate to receive a bad review, but also don't believe a refund was warranted. We do not think this guest is being honest with us, and will not rent to this them again.
