Description of the apartment - · 2 bedroom apartment on the top (6th) floor of an 100-year-old modernist building, renovated outside and inside. The ceilings are still the originals, with artistic moldings. There is an elevator, air conditioning ( air conditioning in the 2nd bedroom and in the living room), heating, and a full kitchen with pots & pans, dishes, etc. One full bathroom with shower, toilet, sink. The living room has a dining table and chairs, a sofa, and TV. The apartment fits up to 4, an occupancy of 2-3 would be the ideal for the size.
The building's roof terrace is just upstairs from the apartment, with tables and chairs, plenty of sunshine, and views to Sagrada Familia. Please note it is a shared terrace. And has open hours 9am-10pm.
Description of location - · The apartment is located in the beautiful Eixample, halfway between Gaudi's La Pedrera (also known as Casa Milà) on the Passeig de Gracia, and Gaudi's La Sagrada Familia, just a ten-minute walk from either one. Casa Amatller and Casa Batlló are at the same short distance as well. The Eixample district has the most beautiful Art Nouveau architecture in the city dating from the last half of the XIX century. There are many cafes, restaurants, tapas bars, and shops in the neighborhood also. Almost all buildings in the area are at least 100 years old. The 115-year-old Market of La Concepció, where you can do your grocery shopping in a traditional setting, is just 200 meters from the apartment. This market has fresh meat, produce, and cheeses, similar to the more famous Boqueria market, but less crowded and does not have some of the more exotic things. The Eixample is recommended as a convenient location to see the different sight around the city, but not as crowded as the Old City. You can get a taste of real local life.
Transportation - · There is a bus stop on the corner right by the apartment that will take you to almost all the places of interest in the city, if you don't feel like walking. The city buses are nice and modern, and run often. The apartment is also less than 5 minutes walking from the metro station of Verdaguer, on both the yellow and blue lines. One stop away is the upscale shopping street, Passeig de Gracia, though you can easily walk there from the apartment. Three stops away is Plaza Catalunya (the very center of the city and also walkable) and the start of Las Ramblas, and the beaches are just five stops away. Four stops away you have the Old Cathedral and the Picasso Museum. There is also a covered paid parking garage (around 30 EUR/ per 24h) close to the apartment, although renting a car in Barcelona is not recommended

Clean and well equiped. Located in a safe nice area, on the main road which made it easy to commute by foot around the city. Impressive shopping market (meat, chicken, fruit & vegetables, fish and deli) plus supermarkets and bakeries close by. Easy walk to Sagrada Família.

Great location to get to everything. Clean, rooftop access to sit and relax. Bathroom bit tight but it is Europe. Washer/dryer combo nice but for very small loads. We liked it.
The apartment was very clean and tidy. Location was perfect ! It was a wonderful stay.

Neighborhood was central and good access. However, the place had a scarcity of amenities and you could tell this was a managed property and the owner never tried to do an overnight themselves. There are soup ladles but no decent towels. The garden top view promised was not open, and we had to let the manager know a half hour ahead of arrival to meet us there, as the wind had knocked out their key entry. This was pretty inconvenient. There were no amenities, like Kleenex or the like and without What's App we might've been sunk. It was decently clean but old and basically spartan from scratched walls to bent lamps, so not cared for. We felt a bit disappointed.
Beautiful apartment in a great location. Lots of cafes nearby. Good transport links for getting around the city but we were ok to walk. Clean and had everything we needed, including aircon.
My stay was great! I stayed here with friends, and the location was perfect — we were able to walk to many nearby spots. Public transportation was also easy to access, with bus stops conveniently close by. It was especially helpful to have a map of local attractions provided for us, which made planning our sightseeing much easier.
Our group (2 couples) absolutely loved this place and location. The location can't be beat. It was close to everything we wanted to do and see. The view from the rooftop is awesome.

Overall it is a good experience, very good location and very good communication. I was allowed to store my luggages in the office before check in, really appreciate it.
We loved the location of this apartment- walkable to all of the old city. The rooftop terrace really added to the stay. We had several meals up there. Communication was good and check in was easy. Apartment has everything you need. Highly recommend
Perfect location. Great assistance from Liliana. Very comfortable, compact apartment. Was never disturbed by city noise over a weekend stay. Bathroom a little bit cramped but we coped fine. Would book again.
