Luna-Sea is the perfect beach getaway for those passionate about the sea. This charming three-bedroom condo features two wraparound balconies and is nestled within the oceanfront community of Sandbridge in the upscale Sanctuary condominium complex.

The gorgeous primary bedroom includes a private bath, while the two additional bedrooms, each equipped with TVs, make Luna-Sea the ideal retreat for couples and families who appreciate a tranquil beach life, free from the hustle and bustle of busy boardwalks. Stylishly decorated, the open kitchen with granite countertops and cozy wood-toned living area provides the perfect setting to relax, unwind, and create lasting memories.

Amenities abound at every corner, including free WiFi, outdoor grilling stations, and easy beach access. Enjoy a variety of fun-filled activities and adventures in and around the area that will make you want to return year after year. You'll fall in love with Luna-Sea, we promise! You'll be conveniently close to the pool, and your stay includes access to all Sanctuary amenities: three pools, courtyard Viking gas grills, and two fitness centers.

We have a family of 7 and the condo worked great with our kids. The location was awesome between the beach and Baja and the playground as well! Had a wonderful week overall.

Informed 24 hours before driving to this site from Ohio that the room required maintenance and we had to change condos. Not for an equivalent either. Across the street less bedrooms and I was not even offered the difference in cost. I had to request it. It was either cancel altogether or take the inferior stay. I cancelled this was through Vacasa.

clean and convenient

The Sanctuary is a favorite of our for its convenience, predictability, and level of updates and cleanliness. This condo did not disappoint. It is conveniently located on the same floor as a pool, near elevator and stairs, and the two parking spots; quite easy to access the beach from the north side and ramp. The condo seems well kept and has loads of seating and storage. Like the whole Sanctuary complex, some of the furnishing are dated, but still useable and great. The beds were more hard and old than we prefer, but it was nice there were a few extra pillows around (bring extra pillowcases if you are a multi-pillow user). Note there is a governor on the HVAC system to not go below 68°. There are loads of kitchen supplies (coffee maker and keurig) for your many needs, and plenty of cabinets to explore. Also liked how Vacasa has a “starter kit” of one laundry soap, one DW soap, a new sponge, etc as a welcome box. Having most of the light switches are labeled was really convenient! The complex now has recycling, and we saw plenty of workers making repairs and cleaning during our week stay. We would stay here again.

We would book this again! It was perfect location. We love the area. We really liked the condo. We have stayed in the area before and we were happy we stayed at this condo.Their are a few things we would suggest:1. The walls needed painted or washed.2. Private deck off master bedroom was very dirty, not welcoming and needs attention.3. Kitchen: some utensils were greasy and needs a griddle.4. It would be nice to have access to storage with beach chairs ect...or so we could have stored all of our stuff their each night instead of dragging it upstairs...5. More bath towels/we washed what we were given a few timesSome areas we wanted to point out that we liked were:1. Nicely decorated for the beach2. Washer and drier were workable and easy3. Their was enough chairs and a nice big couch for all of us.4. It was clean.Thank you for bring some pans to us during our stay. We had a great time this week.... I would call the condo: Beach Therapy!!!

Very nice condo

We love this condo and the lay out of the rooms! Fit our family perfectly! It was a little ways from the main attractions in Virginia Beach which we didn’t realize when booking, but it’s just a few short steps from the ocean! Parking is extremely tight for any full size truck. The condo was a little dirty, table in living room was not moved and someone else food(peanuts and grape steams) were left under table when we moved chairs. Puzzles and games were available! Other than that we loved the condo!

The Sanctuary Luna Sea #A116

My parents booked this condo for us after the house we put a deposit on got pulled from the realtor. Vacasa themselves were very helpful in moving things around for us to accommodate some last minute changes. However, the condo was not great. It was filthy. From the dust on the furniture to the dirty dishes in the kitchen. We actually had to boil water in a skillet, just to scrape all the gunk out to use it. The beds weren’t made all the way and there was trash under the bed in the master bedroom. There’s a smoking section just below the balcony so be prepared to get blasted in the face when the wind shifts. The balcony door off the master bed had screws falling out. The carpets in the bedrooms are dirty and stained. On our last night my parents found a dead cockroach in the middle of their bedroom floor. I feel like we stayed in the “projects” of Sandbridge. Very disappointed. Our family has been coming to Sandbridge since the 70s and have never had such a bad experience in a rental. The only positive things I can say is that the condo is large and close to the beach.

Beautiful location on the beach

The condo was very clean and well-maintained when we arrived. it is a beautiful location; within easy walking distance to the beach. The only complaint I had was that the hot tub and the grill stations were closed for the entire week, which was not disclosed ahead of time. The condo was well stocked, with extra towels, pillows, blankets, and even dish detergent and laundry detergent, both of which I had forgotten to pack! Overall, it was a wonderful place, and we will definitely look for it next summer!

Will not stay again

The location was great; however, our condo was not cleaned very well at all, there were several things broken (toilet seat, door locks, outdoor furniture, etc..), the pool in our building was closed which made it very inconvenient. The parking garage space was not meant for anything other than a compact car so it was hard to get in and out with our truck. Our storage unit was not even close to our condo. I would never choose to stay at this condo again.

The condo was not very clean nor in perfect condition

The check-in process is not convenient having to drive about 20 minutes to get to the Vacasa office to pick up the key. The kitchen floor was dirty and sticky when we arrived, the fridge was all streaked, the counter was dirty and sticky and the dishes were not clean nor was the cutlery. The main bedroom was in good condition, but the second bedroom bed has a broken leg which causes the bed to lean badly. The pillows were disgusting when we removed the linen from the bed. To top it off there was some work being done on the building while we were there and we were awakened around 8AM from the noise. Also the pool was not open during the week despite it being advertised to us as opened by mid May, were were there from the 23 to the 26 (we left a day early). All and all we find the price was very high for the cleanliness and overall experience we had. The balcony furniture is so dirty none of us wanted to sit on it. I would not recommend this place to family or friends.

Enjoyable, convenient, comfortable

Location was nice…the condo is right on the beach, near fishing pier at Little Neck Park and the Wildlife Preserve. The unit itself could stand a little updating but it was clean, comfortable and spacious. Renovations on exterior made it a little cluttered and hot tub was closed. We enjoyed the Sandbridge Island Restaurant…great food and service! Also found the Sandbridge market very convenient. Nothing else was open this time of year. Overall, enjoyable and relaxing time in a comfy condo. Thank you!
