Great Spot.
This home was beautiful and had all the amenities we needed. We were there for a quick weekend trip and it was perfect. Very peaceful and serene setting.
It was a lovely week. The house was pleasant and I loved the screened in porch. I would have liked to have some brighter lighting especially in the bathroom. Thanks
My husband and I stayed at this property during our visit to Biltmore. It is about 20 minutes from the Biltmore/downtown Ashville and nestled in the woods. We loved spending time on the screen porch. Definitely recommend this spot!
The interior of this cabin is lovely, and the kitchen is well-appointed. The location was great for us for visiting Asheville and for white-water rafting. There are several loud dogs in the vicinity that bark during the day and at night, and there is a rooster that crows between 4:30 and 7 AM. There are sound machines in each bedroom, but we found that earplugs were helpful along with the sound machines.

Hi, Courtney. Thank you for your wonderful feedback about the cabin’s interior, kitchen, and the convenient location for exploring Asheville and enjoying white-water rafting. We appreciate you sharing your experience with the noise from dogs barking and the early morning rooster. We understand how this could be disruptive and truly value your input. Thank you for bringing this to our attention, and we hope to welcome you back for a relaxing stay in the future.
We enjoyed our stay. It is a beautiful house with all of the modern conveniences of home. The location was perfect as we were only a few miles from our relatives and had no problems getting together. The weather was great as was the scenic mountain view.

Mountain Retreat
Great house with lots of privacy. Aside from the noisy rooster I would not have even known there were neighbors. Convenient to Asheville. Clean and well kept home.

Secluded
Secluded but near the city. Good beds. Spacious. Vacasa’s full price up front will bring me back to them vs. Air B&B etc.
The property was beautiful. A nice quiet area. We were visiting family in Weaverville. The coffee maker was not working. Called management, and a new one was delivered right away. Would definitely stay there again
The house was very clean, and check in was easy. We especially enjoyed the screened in porch. It was about 15 minutes from Asheville but located in a very private area. Our cars had no trouble getting up the driveway. Communication with the property management company was excellent. We would definitely stay here again. We didn’t do any cooking because this area has too much good food and drink but the kitchen seemed well equipped.
The property was clean, easy to find. You definitely get the feel of being in the mountains. There is a very loud rooster that likes to wake up at 4am, and some very aggressively barking dogs that the rooster sets off. This can mainly be heard on the first floor master. So keep this in mind if putting a little person to sleep in that room. I also think that the police could use some more silverware plates and some wine glasses. Otherwise the kitchen is nicely stocked.

Comfortable house
We liked the layout, the open floor plan, and the comfortable furniture.
The owner didn’t tell Vacasa the new Internet WiFi information, but Vacasa sent someone for repairs.
One issue with the area. It’s out in the country. Lots of outdoor dogs who bark all night and roosters that crow all morning. Bring a white noise machine.

We highly appreciate your review, Jeremy. We have taken your feedback into account as a means to make the necessary improvements. We hope to host you again in your future stays.
As a group we traveled to a wedding and had plenty of space. Ample room for couples and grown kids. Great relaxing spaces for privacy from overload of the wedding excitement. The property was gorgeous and nestled in the woods with a lot of privacy. Located next to a goat farm so be prepared to be woken by a rooster and occasional dogs barking. Very calm and relaxing though and far enough away with each room having a sound machine. Headphones helped. Rooms were cozy and the master even had a yoga mat and foam roller which are both my daily go to’s! Make sure to pack some foil if baking but everything else besides your groceries are there! We loved our stay and the check in and check out was easy and we never had any issues where we needed to contact anyone. Thank you so much for providing this space it was perfect.
The property was as advertised. The kitchen could benefit from a new stove top as the current one only has two burners. A mention about the ongoing rooster verbalization might be handy although we got used to it! The directions for the TV in the instruction book need to be updated. We were not able to watch any of the New Year’s Eve ballgames and the property manager really didn’t help us solve the issue. The house is very large, clean, and convenient as our daughter lives in the same area. Thank you for your hospitality.

No water, no wifi
We arrived at this (admittedly scenic) cabin at 10:00 pm, only to find there was no drinking water whatsoever and the filter on the fridge was broken. We had arrived by Uber and there were no shops in the vicinity. Had we been warned beforehand that there was no potable water, we would, of course, have made arrangements to bring our own. When we called Vacasa, they told us that the listing didn't promise drinkable water (is this not generally a given in the United States...?).
They were also unable to help us fix the wifi, which did not work. There was an unceasing buzzing noise coming from somewhere (we could not locate the source), which was quite maddening. All of these things might have been tolerable had there been any admission/acknowledgment of the myriad inconveniences on the part of the company. We ended up spending one night and leaving as soon as it was light, forfeiting the rest of our stay. I will never again book a vacation rental managed by a company.

Nice cabin
Nicely furnished, clean and comfortable cabin. About 15-20 minutes from downtown Asheville. You need a 4-wheel drive to get up the driveway, but we thought it as a fun part of our mountain adventure. Cabin is private/secluded. There's a rooster next door, but we only heard it when our windows were open in the morning. Internet is slow but good enough for streaming most of the time. Kitchen is well equipped. Overall a nice place to stay.
