Watch the sun rise in this relaxing ocean front, beach front space by the pier
Located adjacent to the St Augustine Pier and park, this clean, quiet, family friendly condo is in a small ocean front complex on St. Augustine Beach. Enjoy pool and ocean views from the living room, balcony and master bedroom of this 2 bed, 2.5 bath unit. Access to the flat is by stairs (no elevator). Upon entry into the unit, which is on the 2nd floor of the building, you will find the Living room, kitchen and half bath, with 2 large bedrooms and 2 baths upstairs (3rd floor of building). The master bedroom has a very comfortable king bed; the second bedroom has a bunk bed with a queen on the bottom and extra-long twin bunk on top. The laundry area is located at the master bedroom entry, and there are TV's in both the master and guest bedroom. There is non-slip tile flooring throughout the flat. There are 2 parking spots (one assigned) and one guest spot. Additional vehicles must park off site. Assorted beach toys are available for your enjoyment. The St. Augustine Pier offers beach volleyball courts, Bocce Ball, playground, Kids Splash Park, and a Farmers Market every Wednesday, in addition to free concerts and other events throughout the year. The flat is within easy walking distance to a variety of places to eat including Antonio’s Pizza, Sunset Grill, Crabbies, Salt Life, Burrito Works, Jack’s BBQ and Brewery, and The Beachcomber, just to name a few. It’s about 3 miles from the historic district, and very close to Anastasia State Park, The St. Augustine Alligator Farm Zoological Park, and the St. Augustine Lighthouse. On your way downtown, you will pass the favorite spot for locals to eat fried shrimp....O'Steen's. Bring cash, they do not take credit cards. There are two major grocery store chains 2 miles to the south, on A1A, and a convenience store and gas station across the street. Our apartment is perfect for anyone looking for a clean, comfortable place in the best beachside location. It’s not an interior designer’s showpiece, but it has everything you need for a relaxing stay, and it is priced accordingly.

We loved our stay, what a great deal for the unit. The unit is definitely more outdated but I believe it reflects in the pricing. Communication was quick and on point for all the pre stay questions we had. The view from the balcony to the ocean was amazing. The unit also had very adequate supplies. This is our 2nd stay on this property and we absolutely love it. Definitely will try to be back!

Happy to hear that you enjoyed your time at the beach!
The location was amazing. My husband could fish at the pier while my son and I were at the beach and our kid could just bounce between us the whole time. It took minutes to walk to the pier, beach, splash pad, and pool. And my 9 year old thought it was the coolest thing to have pizza and ice cream next door.

Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, location
Disliked: Listing accuracy
Beach view was to far away, practically no view, pool had to many people in it, we didn’t use it. Your website was misleading, price was posted including all fees when I paid fees was added to the price it was very disappointing, I brought it to the managers attention before I left home he did offer to refund my money. I would go back but only in unit A and E second floor. Don’t post all fees included if you can’t stand by this and you didn’t

The pictures of our unit, including the views from balcony and bedroom are accurate, and it is unfortunate that you did not like your view. Regarding your complaint about the rental fees; all fees associated with the flat are listed and included in the guest total, which you see before you request to reserve. The extra fees you refer to are taxes we are required by law to pay. We cannot be responsible for a guest's failure to read the website. When you contacted us AFTER sending your booking request, you stated "Due to economic conditions. We would like to take a short get away. Your price is too high for our budget. We can offer $1200 including fees". You clearly saw the stated total, and were trying to negotiate a lower price. Nowhere on our listing does it state or imply that our rental rates are negotiable.
Loved our stay! We came with our toddler and had a great time. You really can't beat the location: right on the beach, has a pool, splash pad from the city right next door, and a lot of food options within walking distance. The pizza place and ice next door are great!
The condensation on the inside of all windows and sliding doors was very bad. You could not see outside at all until you wiped them down. They wer very wet and dripping

Unfortunately your visit coincided while St Augustine was experiencing very cold temperatures....well below our average seasonal temps. There is a dehumidifier in the condo, though you may not have been aware of it, and I was unaware that you were experiencing an issue. I am so sorry. The condensation is unfortunately a fact of life in a sub-tropical climate when we experience extreme cold. I hope you have the chance to visit St Augustine again when our weather is more seasonal. Safe travels.
We enjoyed this property very much. Our unit was very clean and we loved the views. The property manager was very nice and helpful. I recommend this place !
We enjoyed our stay here! Great view even thought our room was set far back. Only complaint was the toaster is in need of being replaced. But great space for kids and great location!

Good location with view of beach and pool - pool clean and large enough for laps - not overcrowded - nice to have clean new towels - place is clean and well stocked
It was a great location. We walked to the pier and restaurants for dinner. The town home was so comfortable and clean.

This was our second time staying at Pier Point South, and the first time in this unit. The location is great, right on the beach and an easy walk to multiple restaurants, ice cream shops and a donut shop. The beach view is fantastic. The unit itself is a clean, but definitely a bit dated. Our biggest issue was with the AC. The downstairs was always comfortable, but the upstairs was at least 5 degrees warmer. This was annoying during the spring time, but seems like it could be a big issue in the summer. I think this was in a previous review, and there are also comments about the humidity. There are multiple dehumidifiers in the unit. I am not an HVAC expert, but it seems like the humidity issue in the upstairs and the AC issue would be related. Also, we unfortunately had some pretty poor weather during our trip, so we spent more time watching TV than I'd prefer while at the beach. The 2nd bedroom TV has a DVD player attached to the back, and may or may not be from this century. We were only able to get onto Netflix in the primary bedroom. There is also a cordless phone and separate answering machine, which seemed like a good reflection on the amount of updates this unit has seen over the years.Aside from the upstairs temperature, this is all minor if you are looking for a convenient beachfront condo. It just seemed like it could be outstanding with minimal effort and investment.

Our apartment is ideal for anyone looking for a clean, comfortable place in the best beachside location. It’s not an interior designer’s showpiece, but it has everything you need for a relaxing stay, and this is reflected in the pricing, especially compared to other places with the same superior location. All hvac units in the complex are essentially the same, due to the age of the condo complex. It will always be very difficult to keep any a/c unit in Florida much cooler than 68 degrees, even in a solid, concrete block building. Unfortunately, your, stay coincided with an unusual April Nor'easter. We wish we could control the weather.
