Overall, a great house and very comfortable. Had a few hiccups initially, however. The hot tub was problematic the first night, couldn't get the stove to work the first morning, skimpy on basic household supplies, etc.
A gorgeous property in a beautiful location. The owners are prompt with responses and provide ample supplies.

Lovely home
The house was amazing. We had a wonderful time. Just a few things to mention. The beds were not very comfortable. We did not get much sleep due to the old mattress. There were no towels in one bathroom and no top sheets. We struggled with the pool controls as we never met with the owner to give us any instructions. Be aware that there were very little amenities to get us started, so make sure you purchase these when you go shopping. The house was very clean, the view was beautiful, the pool was fun. We would go back if the mattresses were replaced.

Hi Jill, we usually appreciate every feedback even if it´s not positive for us. We try to improve our business with each customer and reviews help us to reach that goal. So thank you for taking the time and writing the review.
We always provide our houses with starter packages including amenities to get you through a few days and then you must purchase your own, just as a hotel would. We are working on the new mattresses and hope to see you again in the future. Thanks for your review.
This was our first time staying at a VRBO so we were pleasantly surprised with how fast and efficient our communcation was with management - they are excellent. We were a bit surprised at how many items we had to supply the house with including toilet paper, paper towels, dishwasher pods, laundry soap, garbage bags, kitchen items such as plastic wrap and aluminum foil. We left all of it for the next renters but be prepared to add that cost/time to appoint the house with those items. Moving on, the house is a joy -- it's stunning and we loved our stay there. The Boathouse Tiki Bar was a great restaurant that was very close and can be seen from the property; located at the end of the canal -- food and service was great. We did enjoy spending time outside at the pool using the grill for other meals -- wonderful! Considering that we stayed during covid, it was a perfect pick. If you can fit in a boat rental, it was everything for us as we were able to see and do so many things on the water. All-in-all, it was a great experience and we will be back.
Gorgeous Home & Pool in a Cape Coral undergoing rebuilding from Hurricane Ian
THE HOME:The home, pool, and view down the canal from the rear of the house/pool are fantastic. The street the home is on is a mix of newly-built / newly-remodeled homes like this one as well as original single-level homes. Large driveway to park vehicles on as well as a 3-car garage that is empty to also park vehicles in.THE POOL:The abundance of sunbathing chairs and beach towels for the pool area were very much appreciated. We spent much of our week poolside and laying in the sun. The design of the lanai and shade provided by the overhang of the upper balcony allows you to sit outside without being directly in the sun.THE LOCATION:Hurricane Ian Impact (from 3 years ago at time of this review) is still apparent. What I didn't realize is this home was impacted by Hurricane Ian and only discovered this after looking up online photos after realizing the Cape Coral Yacht Club (previously within view of the home and captured in background photos on VRBO) is no longer there. The Yacht Club area is fenced off, so once construction starts on building the new club, I would expect noise to come from this. As of June 2025, no construction had started and it is just a vacant parking lot with a lot of empty boat slips. You are not allowed to fish off of the pier and the area generally looks sad. Part of the reason for choosing this location was proximity to the beach club, though I didn't think to confirm if it was still there since the VRBO photos still showed it.
This is a beautiful property and we really enjoyed our stay there. Check in process was a breeze. Property management was very responsive. Some of the items in the home no longer work. The water feature for the pool, a fan, and the speakers outside had to be disconnected. So that was a little bit of a disappointment. We rented the boat and had major boat issues. Only got to use it for a couple hours out of four days total but the boat rental company completely refunded our money. Other than that, it was great! Has a gorgeous view and it’s nice that it’s so close to the boat house at the end of the channel. This house is definitely one of a kind!
Great home and location. Exactly as represented. Did have a couple of small issues. In a couple of the showers we found hair in the drain and they had the pool side speakers disconnected and we were told this was due to a history of loud music late into the night. This did bother me because we understood the music was not to be played to loud and done by 10 pm. Seems VRBO did not trust me to carry out their instructions.
No need to go anywhere else when staying at this house.
The pictures say it all. I highly recommend renting a boat- a great way to visit beaches, otherwise you’re driving to all of them. The manmade beach near the yacht club is not the place to go unless you like to swim in river water. As others mentioned, the house isn’t fully equipped with extras as some rental houses are, but you get by. Plus, yes, as each of us stay there, each leave a little extra. There’s three bedrooms on the main floor and one upstairs. The mattresses and sheets aren’t the best, lots of pilling and some stains. The pillows are all cheap foam. The pool is amazing. The hot tub never got hot enough to be considered a hot tub, but given it was 85 outside, it wasn’t a huge deal. Each bedroom has one bed, which is fine, but in our case with children, it would have been nice if one room had twin beds. We bought a blow up bed for our youngest (11) to sleep on. The garage (beautiful as well) smells like gas, but turned out it was the garbage cans. I say this because I have to imagine we weren’t the first to call the property manager about it. Over the phone they told us to roll out the trash cans, but they did come check for us. There’s plenty of beach towels, you May need to search for them. There’s no real consistency as to where towels and linens are placed by the cleaning crew. Bath towels, however, don’t expect many of them. Each bathroom had one bath towel to use, except the two master baths each had two bath towels. The house has smart TVs (but when I asked about it before I arrived, they said they didn’t so we brought a Roku. ) There’s a Nespresso machine and a regular coffee pot. We bought storage containers for the kitchen since the house had none. There’s not much in terms of serving platters either if you’re looking to entertain. If you have small children, be aware that the hot water is really hot! We all didn’t mind it, but a child could scald themselves- especially in the kitchen since the hot and cold is reversed. There’s 3 car garage- 2 spaces are available to use, but only 1 garage opener. 3rd stall has floats, 2 beach chairs, few body boards and pool basketball game. No beach toys if you need them. Dollar tree is close by & you can pick up a good bit there. (Dish soap, body soap, kids stuff, detergent, cleaners, etc. there are Some name brand items. I ordered food delivery from Publix to be delivered 5-6pm on arrival day. We usually rent beachfront homes, but we were very happy with this choice & would rent again.
Property was better than the photos. The home was beautiful and exceeded our expectations. Our family of six enjoyed every minute of our stay. We rented the boat for the week that you could add to your rental which was great. We enjoyed boating every morning and came back and enjoyed the pool and outdoor kitchen in the afternoon and evening. We were a few minutes away from a small beach and Boathouse bar and restaurant which was fun. We would definitely consider coming back.
Views were amazing! Home was clean and better then described. Plenty of room for my large family! Communication was amazing and property manager was AWESOME!
Such a beautiful home with everything you need! We spent the majority of our time around the pool and loved the wonderful views. A short walk to The Boathouse for dinner and drinks was a highlight. Can’t wait to go back!
Was great property with a nice view. The boathouse being a short walk was very convenient with 2 toddlers. They loved the pool, and hot tub. Wonderfully set up if you wanted to have a get together as well.
The house is beautiful and even better than the pictures. The best location if you wanted to rent one of the boats at the home for ease of getting in and out of the water and to local play areas. The neighborhood is quiet and lovely and everyone we met was friendly. The heated pool and hot tub were beautiful as well and used everyday. I miss looking out side now that we’re home and not not seeing the pool and the canal. We will be back.
The only improvement I would suggest is leaving instructions for the Sonos sound system (which was great) and the pool/hot tub. We did have to call the property managers to figure that out. They were very responsive and helpful.
So, we had an excellent stay and recommend the home whole heartedly.
We were extremely happy with this rental. The house was immaculate! The online pictures dont capture the true beauty of its design and layout. The rental manager was awesome. He was quick on responding to our booking inquiry as well as for any other questions or concerns we had. The only thing we were lacking was for toiletries for the restrooms. We will be renting again.
The property was exactly as advertised, with two master suites (one on upper level) and two additional bedrooms. The indoor/outdoor layout of the kitchen/great room, and the pool area, was great for our family of 5 to hang out together. The views from the pool area were exceptional, and the property was well appointed throughout. Would definitely go back and highly recommend.
This house is seriously amazing. The views and the back yard alone are worth every single penny. Interior was perfect layout and outside was where we spent majority of our time! The sliding doors that open up to the pool deck was so amazing to have during this time of the year! There is no need to leave the house for anything. I suggest renting the boat as it was so nice just walking to the dock and zooming off to the ocean.
Only downside i would say is the house is in the middle of an older neighborhood with older neighbors. It is noise sensitive and as the pool and outside area is the major highlight.. made it a little difficult at times. My group was young adults age range of 30s and we did not throw any parties. Just smaller group enjoying the space, But we got yelled at during the day for the noise. Not even late hours. 3pm. But i will say majority of the time we had no noise complaints, besides that day.
Also, the house isn’t fully equipped with cooking needs. We went during thanksgiving and thankfully came prepared. The house only has basic kitchen needs like cups, plates, etc.
Overall the house was amazing and i would hands down recommend this home! Just if you’re looking for something you want to be a tad noisier or have loud speaking individuals, not the ideal place.
This place is beautiful. There is one bathroom that had shower issues. Other than that, we had the time of our lives. We would come back tomorrow if we could!
Incredible house we will definitely rebook “The Beau”. Spend the extra money and book this property! Boat addition is a must and was a great recommendation. The island hopping, lunch at Cabbage Key, dolphins swimming by us...can’t say enough!
