Stay in Hilo Lagoon Centre Unit 701 for a cosmopolitan vibe in the heart of Hilo, Hawaii. Walk to our quaint city centre restaurants, shops, and ocean parks! With outstanding views of mountains and the ocean from the condo, you'll never forget you're in one of the best towns in Hawaii. Enjoy any of the three balconies in our condo with a bird's eye view of town. The condo has two bedrooms each with an ensuite bathroom. The central kitchen and living room separates the bedrooms for privacy. Four barstools offer easy seating and our fully stocked kitchen is convenient for cooking. The main bedroom boasts a California King bed, chest of drawers, walk-in closet and ensuite bathroom with a walk-in shower. The second bedroom has two XL Twin beds, chest of drawers, closet and ensuite bathroom with bathtub and shower. The living room is very comfortable with a couch and two arm chairs for enjoying the entertainment of streaming TV and WiFi service.

Air Conditioning is central through three handlers to control temperature in three zones (main area, main bedroom, second bedroom).

The condo building has an outdoor swimming pool that you are invited to use during your stay. Guests agree to follow Hilo Lagoon Centre Pool Rules, Mahalo!

There is a common laundry room on the floor for your use. Please note the laundry machines are coin operated and require quarters.

ONE parking space is included for the duration of your stay with us.

Currently the pool and BBQs are not available. The unit was very clean with the exception of sand and crumbs in between the couch cushions. The AC units work well however the AC in the master bedroom does not cool as well as the other two and sometimes smells like burning candles. There are homeless in the area of Hilo so sometimes I did not feel comfortable walking into town or around town by myself. The location of the condo is good. The property management company is very responsive.

The AC alone is worth it. This is an older building and it has all the ear markers of being an older building and especially one that has been a rental. The shower was great, though the opening is a bit small. The kitchen space was really small, but if you’re not cooking gourmet meals, you’ll be fine. There is no seasonings, no oil, etc. which is fine, I pack my own. Thought this info would be helpful for others staying. There were 3 patios, but I only used the master bedroom one - it was somewhat difficult to push open/closed. Parking was extremely convenient, but there were stairs. I would stay here again as it’s extremely close to everything - close to family, close to Prince kuhio mall, and the area is well maintained.

The 4 star review is in reference to couple of light fixtures didn't work (kitchen and mstr bdrm), and a problem with a twin bed frame that made sleeping uncomfortable. We made do and reported it at check out via text. We didn't want to interrupt our stay. Overall, we loved the unit and have already shared your condo name with friends. The most awesome view was from the master bedroom with the huge windows and the amazing sight of both Mauna Kea and Mauna Loa! Also, the park at the back of the building was perfect for walking. We loved that the bedrooms were separated by the living room and 3 balconies for enjoying the outside. The view was beautiful. It’s close enough to town to walk to restaurants or the shops. It’s an older building with low toilets and the water in one bathroom makes noise when turned on all the way. We would stay again.

This was the second time we have stayed in this unit and would definitely love to make it a third time! For three adults, the number of beds, bedrooms and bathrooms were great! The kitchen was fully stocked with cookware and we appreciated having a cooler to use on outings. This condo is situated nicely between all there is to do on the east and west sides f this portion of the island.

This was my third time in this building with this management company. Checking in and out is easy. While the building is in need of some love the units are updated, clean, and have everything you could need. The location is great! It's a short walk to the ocean, the outdoor market, and historic downtown Hilo.

Disliked: Location
The condo was in excellent condition and very clean. The building is older but mostly in good condition. The building and parking areas could use better lighting. There was a wild pig in the parking lot. While wild pigs can be a threat we were told this particular animal wasn't. The surrounding area was a strange mix of abandoned buildings and nice restaurants. In all, the location was a disappointment but the rental itself was excellent.
