Entry instructions were confusing. Instructional and information book needs to be updated as much of it was outdated and did not apply. We needed a few things fixed and they were quick to have a handy man come by.

The location is a bit awkward at the end of a long steep cul-de-sac into the condo unit. So if you want to go to the Safeway that is about 1000ft from the unit, you walk more than a mile down a hill and back up.There were small maintenance issues, the most important one was addressed promptly. Communication with the property manager was good.Nothing of this is bad - I'd consider renting the unit again. But to me 5 star should mean "it was (nearly) perfect". And it didn't quite live up to that.

We didn't receive our arrival instructions until I called the host while we were at the property searching for the unit, partly my fault for not following up and not realizing they were never sent. The host did respond quickly with our instructions. I was pretty underwhelmed with the property. Ceratinly did not live up to the description as "newly renovated". Perhaps the renovation took place ten years ago...Other than the kitchen, everything was pretty outdated. Ceiling fans not working properly, remotes not working, water fixtures loose, no lock on the sliding door, paint peeling badly in one of the bathrooms, shower head spraying water from the connection, and kitchen sink has some really foul odor, we had to keep it plugged, and water filtration barely trickled out water.I feel for the money, I would pass on this place and find something much nicer. Sorry, don't mean to be a downer, just pointing out the obvious.

Loved this property! Close to ocean and shops, very quiet and clean. We would definitely stay here again. The owners were quick to answer any questions/problems we had. Nice supply of beach stuff. Plenty of beach towels, chairs, small ice chests etc. Good selection of basic kitchen cooking supplies. All appliances in good working condition.

Beautiful Kona condo

Great location just a block from main Kona sea wall and shops. Beautiful condo! My daughter loved having her own private loft bedroom and bathroom. Having beach towels and in-house washer/dryer was perfect for all of our diving and snorkeling adventures. Hosts were very communicative and welcoming. We’d stay here again!

Great location and lots of space

This was a great location. It was so close to Alii Drive, shopping, groceries, and food. The space was much larger than I thought it would be and the AC was so nice in hot Kona town. The only downfall would be the neighbors. We had 2 vehicles because we were planning on picking up more folks the next day and we asked if we could park nearby. We were told yes, but the neighbors complained about us parking nearby. Other than that, we had a great time at this location.
