About the House
While almost hidden from view and set far back from the street, this secluded home is situated on a very private wooded lot. You will be in the midst of everything exciting that Hyannis has to offer, and yet not know it, given how tranquil and relaxing it is to stay at the house.
Charming By The Harbor, is expansive with its oversized windows, and is large, spacious, airy and flooded with natural light with the feel of a classic contemporary Cape Cod landmark home. Built in 2004, it offers all the expected modern conveniences including an open plan living area, an updated kitchen with plenty of counter space and breakfast bar, updated bathrooms, central air conditioning and a see-through gas fireplace. There is a large sunny deck, complete with lounge seating and table with chairs for dining alfresco located in the front of the home, close to the kitchen on the second level.
In the rear of the house at the lower level is a flat backyard patio with a newly installed hot tub with steps leading up to it, as well as an area perfect for frisbee, cornhole, and other outdoor games and a small patio for barbecuing, with a picnic table to enjoy grilled meals. This is also where the swing glider and must-have outdoor shower is located.
There are 3 levels making it easy to have your own space. The first lower level has its own separate living room and wet bar. It is a large area perfect for grill preparations, and has a secondary refrigerator, prep sink, kitchen cabinetry, and separate dishwasher. Glass sliding doors open straight to the patio and fenced-in yard. There is 1 bedroom with a full bath on this level. There is also a dedicated office space, in case you need to sneak in some work hours.
The second level has a large, open kitchen, dining room that seats 8 and a great room with 15-foot cathedral ceilings - creating the perfect space for everyone to hang out. The Primary Bedroom located on this level, with an en suite luxurious bathroom and whirlpool tub, also offers slider access to the deck.
The third uppermost level has its own sitting area and 3 bedrooms that share 1 full bath, keeping most of the bedrooms away from the entertainment areas of the house.

Should you decide you would prefer to drive there is a beach pass included for free parking at all of Town of Barnstable's beaches!
