Short weekend trip

First time up to the lake with family, house was perfect and exactly as described in listing. Owner was very flexible in check in/out times and very responsive throughout our stay. Location was amazing, staying on one of the back channels of lake protected us from weather a bit and was super relaxing. Was able to bring our boat and dock it at the house which was very convenient, neighbors were also super friendly. Overall great stay would love to make it an annual trip.

Beautifully remodeled home

The place was great. Everything was clean and new. It was nice having smart TVs in every room so we could sign in to Netflix and stream movies at night. We ended our day each evening walking down to the beautiful beach and relaxing while the sun went down. I wish I had a boat to take advantage of having that dock right in the backyard. We'd definitely stay there again.

Lake access galore!

Home was completely updated! The proximity to the beach was amazing, we walked over everyday and it took about 2min. Beach access has a boat launch as well. The amenities in the kitchen were great. Every item we would ever need! If we owned a boat we would’ve certainly taken advantage of the dock and hope to in the future. We have two kids and the televisions in each bedroom was a wonderful option when they couldn’t agree on what to watch. The community for the most part was very peaceful…a few weekend fireworks from those homes hosting on the weekends but to be expected as it was a great week! Highly recommended for those looking to relax and enjoy the lake life!

Winnipesaukee’s Best Kept Secret

Amazing property! The entire interior of the house and all of the appliance had a newness feel. The central air was perfect after a hot day on the lake. The shower is one of the best. It’s a two headed shower with great water pressure. We stayed for a week from August 3 -9, 2022. The boat launch is maybe a quarter mile from the private dock. The launch is pretty straightforward, unlike most of the lake’s boat ramps. The canal where the private dock is located is calm water so no need to worry about the boat rocking into the dock as on most other parts of the lake. Huge fire pit with plenty of seating, and an outdoor grill is available for use. This property was up there with the best I’ve rented through VRBO. The owners/ managers have done a great job keeping this property feel like the guest is important to them, and no detail is missed. Again, we had an amazing time and had a tough time leaving. Great spot for a relaxing week with the family and boat. Will be back!!

Exceeded expectations !

We came to the area because my teen daughter and her friend were attending a concert at the Pavillion but had never visited NH before. Gray Birch was the perfect place for us - clean, thoughtfully stocked, comfortable … everything I had hoped for. It is just as listed. Great dock for watching the neighborhood boaters, fire pit for evening, conveniently located to everything we wanted/needed yet very much a water/wood side destination. Directions were clear and the host was very responsive. Our stay was too short and we hope to return so we can enjoy more of what we missed. Thank you for making your beautiful cabin available for us to share.
