Note: Boat access only. Loon Lookout offers spectacular lake and mountain views from this Rattlesnake Island cottage. Swim from the dock and breakwater in the deep clear waters of lake Winnipesaukee. Hike the trail that runs the length the Island and offers breathtaking views! Boating, restaurants, fishing, too much to list of what you can do on the best lake in the WORLD!
Loon Lookout cottage has 3 bedrooms, a large living / dining room and full kitchen. Bathroom with toilet (odorless composting) and sink in the cottage. Additional toilet (Composting) sink and shower in adjacent shed.
Boat access only, renters will either need to provide their own transportation to and from the island or boat rental available upon request or transportation can be provided for an additional fee. Dock can accommodate 23' boat. Boat launch and parking available at local marinas. Not recommended for those who have difficulty climbing stairs.

We know Lake Winnipesaukee well, and this island cottage was amazing. Its tree house feel, great docks, and proximity to all made for a great few weeks.

Loved Loon Lookout!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay on Rattlesnake Island. The house was comfortable and well-equipped for our group of five (plus our dog). The views from the house are amazing and we enjoyed hiking along the ridge line of the island. Overall, an amazing island home!

This is a magical place and we are so glad we found it. A true immersion in nature with so much privacy and beautiful views. We enjoyed fishing, swimming, and sunning by the docks daily. The hiking from the backyard is incredible. The house was very clean and accommodating. I was skeptical of compost toileting but it actually smelled better than a normal toilet. Paul was very easy to book with and we will definitely be back!

Beautiful Stay!!

This house really is a gem. Very clean, fully stocked and very cozy. We were skeptical about getting to and from the island by boat but Wolfeboro was under a 10 min boat ride and had no complaints. Think of it as an adventure! The waters were clean and great boating. The upper hiking trails on the island with excellent views made the place! I would highly recommend this House and the host Paul was awesome. Robert & Cristi

Rattlesnake Island Rental

This rental was in immaculate in condition and has every amenity you could ask for to make for a very comfortable stay! The cottage was in exceptional condition and the furnishings were very comfortable. Now let's talk about the views! You can't find a better view of the lake from this island. You get a workout from the stairs but that was expected and clearly communicated. We appreciated being able to check in a bit early on Saturday. This rental exceeded our expectations and we would rent here again!
