The Emerald cottage is a charming, fully renovated 1950s beach cottage one block to the beach! Hear ocean waves from the master bedroom w/ a queen bed, en-suite bath & claw foot tub. Enjoy your morning coffee on the private deck or gather together in the open living area. There’s a hall bath & guest bedroom with desk area too! Unique & cozy, this cottage has it all with modern amenities, family fun, bikes a fire-pit, hot tub, a 3 minute walk to the beach access at the end of both streets on either side of the cottage! It’s pet friendly & close to city center!

There are 2 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms with an outdoor shower as well, to clean off after the fun beach days! The master bedroom en suite has a queen bed with clawfoot tub, water closet, pedestal sink and closet. The hall bath is next to the guest bedroom that has a double bed with a closet and a desk area to work from home. Call bathhouse a tile shower, toilet and sink. The stackable washer and dryer are in the hallway next to the bathroom for your convenience while staying in the cottage. The cottage is fully renovated with all new appliances. There are TVs in both bedrooms and a large TV in the living room for those cozy movie nights together. Private backyard with outdoor seating for your morning coffee or grill dinner on the deck, and a hot tub for relaxing and the firepit for fun cozy nights! And with tons of beach gear for all the beach days and bikes, exploring is a breeze! Public beach access is just down the block so the walk is about 3 minutes. What more could you ask for!

Great location. Very quick walk to public access to get to the beach. Living area was very comfortable. The overall space is very quaint and the decor is charming but felt tight for only two people and two dogs. Yard is in need of some maintenance. Kitchen has a really small fridge and stove is more suitable for an RV.

Thanks so much for the review, although it is not truly accurate. The stove is a high-end 24 inch electric stove that was over $1000. It is suitable for the 800 square-foot home that is for a short stay:) The kitchen fridge is a narrow 24” like a sneg type vintage style. Again both are definitely perfect with the design and layout as all our our other guests have loved it! The yard has amazing privacy and is a natural habitat in Emerald Isle, in its natural state and is a very awesome buffer for the road and neighbors which create a tranquil oasis. Every other guest has loved this property and will continue to love the property as we have return guests all the time that appreciate it:)

My family had a wonderful stay at this quaint boho cottage. The location and decor were as listed. We loved the private location. You can’t see the ocean from the property but you can hear it and the secludedness of it made it special. The area is safe and walk to the beach was easy. All of the necessities were as listed. I highly recommended staying at the Emerald Cottage. The hostess was informative with details and responsive. We would love to return again.

Cozy Fall Visit

Family Stay

We had a great stay at the cottage with our three children and dogs. There was plenty of sleeping room for everyone. The cottage was clean and had everything we needed for the week. I loved that the shed had all the beach essentials: wagon, chairs, beach umbrella so I didn't need to buy and hall those items with us :)

Property was beautiful, clean when we arrived. Stacy left us wine & popcorn and little bathroom supplies as well as supplied everything we needed for our stay. Great spot with flexible scheduling

Very cute and cozy with a well-appointed kitchen. It was great to have flexibility to reserve according to our schedule which didn’t work for the whole week. Quick walk to a great section of the beach. Best interior design of any beach rental we’ve ever had!
