Poolside Cottage #412

Welcome! This beautiful cottage (sleeps 6) is located in the Coconut Mallory Resort & Marina on the eastern end of Key West. This secluded, waterfront oasis includes outdoor pools, hot tub, on-site marina and boat dock. There's also a new bar & grill, Gumbo's, in the resort. When you want to get out and explore KW, you're only minutes from beaches, the Seaport and world famous Duval Street! Bikes, kayaks, paddle boards and golf carts can be rented locally. Remember to bring your shades, flip flops and sunblock! If you've booked during summer months, we also highly recommend bug spray. KW is loaded with ""No See Um" bugs during the warmer months.

I'm an experienced super host with a handful of rentals and I expect you'll be delighted with the cleanliness and amenities provided at this Poolside Cottage.

Rental of Poolside Cottage #412does not include or guarantee the availability of a boat slip or trailer parking. Guest must reserve a boat slip and trailer parking through Coconut Mallory Resort ahead of time. Boat slips are generally available, though we highly recommend booking in advance. Slips are $100 per day, $400 per week. Trailer parking is $75 per week on gravel, $150 per week on asphalt.

Also, all guests have an option of paying a $59 fee that is non-refundable (it covers us in case of damage) OR you can pay a $1500 deposit that IS 100% refundable, assuming there's no damage.

By reserving the Poolside Cottage, you acknowledge and agree to our Rental Agreement & Release of Liability, which can be found under the Rental Agreement section of this listing. This simply means you understand that your stay is at your own risk and that Escargone, LLC and its owners aren’t responsible for accidents or injuries. We’ve included this just to keep everything clear and safe, so you can focus on relaxing and enjoying your tropical getaway.

Relaxing Stay!

This was the most perfect little place to stay in the Keys. Nice balcony to sit on overlooking the pool, very short walk to the onsite marina. Next time we go we plan on taking our boat and docking it at the marina. Nothing but good things to say about the cottage. My family did not want to leave and already planning to come back next year.

A bit of paradise away from the crowds but close to action if you want!

The cottage was clean and comfortable. We only stayed one night for a wedding, but we would definitely return to use the pool and chill on the cottage's patio. The kitchen had plenty of pots and pans for my next visit! We ubered easily downtown for the wedding and a few drinks afterward. The property manager responded quickly to any questions before arrival.

Arrived/ 1/2 early. Code worked 5 minutes before check in time. Would be nice to have a bit of flexibility maybe enter 1/2 early without prior arrangements and extra cost. Property was nice but a bit pricey for a one night stay with all the extra fees.

Great place to stay for our Florida Keys vacation

Nice and clean. Great to have a pool and grill if you needed one. Everything we needed to do was explained in email and the book in the house. Only problem we had was finding the laundry facility based on the directions. Also, the fan in the bedroom has click when running. Overall a great stay. Thank you!!!

Simply the best

Hosts offering a fully equipped condo, all the linens and towels you could want. Pool a few steps from the condo, a detached 2 unit with a porch. Lovely in every way. Hosts immediately accessible if needed. Never needed.

Not worth the cost

Overpriced for the location and condition of the unit. We were disappointed and sorry that we didn't stay at a local "traditional" hotel which were more conveniently located and better maintained. The sleep sofa was super uncomfortable and the murphy bed was deigned wrong with the inside person having to climb over the other person to get into and out of bed.

My husband and I stayed at this property for 4 days and enjoyed it thoroughly. We did some cooking there and the kitchen was pretty well-stocked with what we needed. The owners were kind enough to provide coffee and sugar, towels, toilet paper, and shower soap/shampoo/conditioner. The property was very clean and comfortable, and being on the east end of Key West, was nice and quiet. It is only a few minutes drive or uber ride into down town - or a few miles ride if you bring or rent a bicycle. It's an easy walk or ride across the bridge to Stock Island for a visit to the Botanical Gardens or restaurants there. Overall - I would recommend this property.

Our family of six had an amazing stay! The kids—including a couple of teenagers—are already asking when we can go back. The place had everything we needed—plates, cups, beach towels, regular towels, a coffeemaker, pots and pans, and even laundry facilities.The parking lot is very tight. We brought our boat but weren’t able to bring it in at all—it was just too cramped to maneuver. Fortunately, I had contacted the dock master before arriving with the help from Bill and the resort. We were able to reserve a spot for both the boat and trailer, which worked out perfectly.If I had one minor complaint, it would be the beds—they weren’t the most comfortable. The Murphy bed was probably the best of the bunch. That said, it didn’t affect our experience enough to drop a star. After long, fun-filled days, we were all so tired (even the teens!) that we just crashed into bed anyway.Bill was super responsive and helpful with any questions, which I really appreciated. Honestly, the pictures don’t even do this place justice. We had such a great time and truly enjoyed our stay!

Mom/daughter getaway

We really enjoyed this property as a mid vacation stop. We did 2 nights in Key Largo, 4 nights here, and 3 nights in Miami. We were thrilled to have the full kitchen, included parking space, and the laundry was free (I was almost expecting it to be coin operated). This unit is one I would 100% stay at again. My only complaints were we found the bed in bedroom to be warm (mattress cover was thick so we actually utilized Murphy bed in living room more). The ceiling fan in bedroom is also very wobbly. We spoke with a group that was staying at resort after booking through resort and they were having a horrible experience. We had to tell them we had completely different experience (this unit is owner operated). Easy lift/uber rides to Duval, quieter area, and the pool out front (1 of 2 on location) was the less busy of the 2). Bill was very responsive and gave great recommendations.

Beautiful little getaway

This Vrbo was fantastic. Bill and Noah were very patient, professional hosts. Noah kindly and persistently followed up when my friends and I struggled to remember to sign their contract. Bill showed up with brand name toiletries in under a half hour from my first text - and had great dinner recommendations to boot (Santiago’s Bodega was a clear highlight). We spent much more time in the pools than we anticipated (4-5 foot deep and only slightly less salty than the ocean, with a variety of kid-friendly inflatables). The large screen TV was perfect for an impromptu movie night. We were able to schedule an early morning Uber to the Dry Tortugas ferry ride for $18 - cheaper than paying for parking on Key West. The laundry machines were nearby, free and of high quality. The parking spot was a huge plus. And the Keurig, ready to use ice, first aid kit, Kate Spade beach towels, and elegantly folded bathroom towels topped the cake. Do note that you’ll need to buy renters insurance per their contract in addition to paying the standard Vrbo costs.

Ein Tag auf Key West

Das wunderschöne kleine Poolhaus-Appartement liegt in einer gepflegten Anlage. Das Appartement ist geschmackvoll eingerichtet und es ist alles vorhanden, was man für einen gelungenen Aufenthalt braucht. Wir waren sechs erwachsene Personen und konnten alle gut schlafen. Ein Highlight ist der Pool vor der Tür .

I fell in love with the chill vibe at Coconut Mallory and purchased two of the cottages, #411 and #412, that I'm now listing on VRBO and other channels. The properties are in the perfect location for KW. You'll sleep comfortably in this quiet, family friendly resort and you're just a hop, skip and a jump from beaches and all the downtown fun. The resort features multiple pools, tubs, marina access and a restaurant (restaurant is currently closed for updates).

What makes this property unique

I'm an experienced super host with a handful of properties and I expect you'll be delighted with the cleanliness and amenities of the Poolside Cottage. The Cottage is located in a beautiful and mostly quiet resort. You can relax in peace and then head to the strip when you're ready for crowds.
