We had a great stay. Everything was as described. The property as near and clean. It was just outside of Frankfurt which worked out well for us. It was a short drive to all the activities we wanted to do. The owner was very response to my questions and I found her very helpful. We would certainly stay there again.
Lovely cabin in the woods. Great for a family of 4. Good kitchen items. Loved the firepit.A/C in main bedroom didn't work great and 3rd bedroom had no A/C. There is no cable or internet - which might be good for a vacation. Emily is very responsive.
My sister and I enjoyed our stay at this very nice cabin. Everything was great, place is cute & cozy , clean, comfortable beds and furniture, has all amenities as listed, private setting, convenient and close to so many of our favorite places. I would stay here again.
We had a fantastic time staying at this woodland cabin in Frankfort for 3 days. First, it's in a lovely forest setting and the cabin itself is so welcoming with all of the wood theme in the property. So nice to have 3 bedrooms and a full bath and kitchen. Emily was wonderful to work with and quickly answered any of our questions. The only draw back is that there's no Wifi. I hot-spotted off of my phone and was able to do what I needed to do for business while I was there. We also loved all the movies that were available on DVD. We watched two really good ones. There are also 3 large mounted deer head as you walk in the front door, so if that bothers you, I wouldn't recommend this cabin. Out of the 3 other properties that we've stayed at in the area, this was our favorite!
The property was as described and the location was great. It was secluded and quiet. Wish there was AC but over a great place for the price. Emily was responsive as well.
Thank you for sharing your cozy cabin! Would definitely stay here again! It was perfect for our long weekend fishing vacation. Only suggestion, possibly fence or rope off the lawn so no one can park on it, note on fridge was not noticed until day after arrival.
This is a well loved and cared for cabin with many practical and thoughtful additions to make it comfortable. It is spacious and a good use of space for being small. I would come back for sure.
We liked the cleanliness of the home and the secluded setting that was still close to Frankfort and surrounding towns and water.Emily was very responsive and helpful. There is a binder that gives all the information you need. Two of the bedrooms have air conditioning but the third smaller one didn't. Luckily, we only had two couples so we didn't need it. The rest of the house was quite warm this weekend and even with trying to move the air with the fans provided, didn't cool it down much. The large front window didn't have a screen so opening it for circulation was not a possibility. We didn't have a fire, but if you do make sure to pick up some from one of the places in town, the firewood on the property is not available for use.No Wifi or cable but a huge collection of DVDs and we came with some games so we were fine.Overall it was a good place to stay. We'd stay again if we were in the area.
Property is secluded, which was nice to have privacy. Driveway was also large enough to put our boat and turn it around which was a huge plus. Could be deep cleaned though. There is also only 4 towels and no washer and dryer, so pack accordingly.
Fantastic location! Clean and had everything we needed. Close to Crystal Mountain where we spent our time. Very private and quiet. Fantastic place to unplug and relax. Cell service was no issue, no internet but worked for our needs. Like I said, perfect place to unplug from the work week!
The Cabin and supplies were as described and made the stay very comfortable. The one story, one step in was comfortable for 86 year old mother. Beds were comfortable. Property manger very helpful with a minor issue. It was a beautiful setting with so many things to do within a 20 minute drive. Thanks for a wonderful experience!
We decided last minute to join some family on vacation in Honor. We came across this cabin so we could be close to them. It was back in the woods, peaceful and still close to Honor to be with family and Frankfort for the beach, shops and restaurants. The owner was great about responding when we had questions and checking in and out was easy. They provided a few toys and movies for the kids. There was a list of things to do and places to eat near by. My only suggestion not a complaint is have a stash of bobby-pins just in case renters have very young (2 and 3 year olds) and curious kids like mine. They can lock the cleaning closet and bedrooms from inside and we didn’t have anything small enough to open the door. We picked up bobby-pins so we could unlock the doors. Luckily they only manage to lock the closet door and not themselves in a bedroom. Overall it was a nice place to stay and would stay again if we were looking for a quiet place in the woods but close enough to the different activities we love in that area.
We stayed here 3 weeks ago and loved it so much we rented for another quick trip to Frankfort for salmon fishing. Perfect location! Great host who is responsive and wants to ensure everything is perfect for her guests!!!
Since we were gathering to see family, we appreciated the quiet, private setting. The full-sized refrigerator, sink, and stove let us eat in with ease. Beds were comfortable and living room furniture cozy. It was easy to get into both Frankfort and Elberta. Our communication with the host was clear, easy and prompt. "To do" list for departure was short and easy. Thank you, Emily!
