Room was as expected, maybe a bit smaller, but perfect for our needs. Clean. Nice to have soap, shampoo, and hair dryer. Bed was comfortable, towels were fluffy. Easy in and out. Street parking was plentiful. Great neighborhood for walking.
Lena was wonderful and very helpful when I ran into issues. The room is quite small but had everything I needed, including a microwave, fridge, and keurig.
My husband and I enjoyed our stay. She thought of everything we might need and was very solicitous about our comfort The coffeemaker uses pods so you don't need to bring coffee. Just bring bedside lights if you like to read in bed and decaf pods if that's your preference.
Our adult son stayed in this unit during Thanksgiving while we (parents) stayed in the upstairs unit. It worked out very well. We were asked to rate the pool, but we are not aware of any pool here. It is most curious! There is no NA category, so I put a 1 since every question requires an answer of some kind.
Me and my best friend traveled from TN for a weekend trip looking at a wedding dress. This was my first time using vrbo and the process was so easy. Communication with host is A. Never ran into an issue. We walked about 20 minutes to be able to get things we needed and the neighborhood was great! No complaints here.
Overall the room was comfortable, well stocked and had what I needed for a work trip with the entire day spent in conferences.
I was traveling alone and there is a bathroom with a locked door that clearly attaches to someone else's living soace, another door to a shared space blocked by a wardrobe, and it made me feel a bit nervous. I could hear the other residents moving around at times, similar to being in an apartment. I placed items in front of the doors because it made me nervous. I also couldnt figure out how the lock worked & felt as though it was not secured, a hotel lock on the main door would have helped!

I think this place was a great value for the money. It’s not luxury living, but at only double digits per night (they don’t let you post prices in reviews), it is far cheaper than what you’d pay for even the crappiest hotel in the area. Everything was clean enough and well thought out. There was even a couple of thoughtfully provided water bottles along with some coffee, tea bags and condiments and a little fridge. Doing yoga there was not exactly a pleasant experience because with your face down on the floor next to it, you realize the rug is old and musty. And you do hear the home’s other inhabitants when you’re in the bathroom but didnt notice them with the bathroom door closed. Other than that, everything was very satisfactory and a good value with great communication.
Overall it was a good experience. The first night/morning was nice and quiet, but the next 2 mornings there was quite a bit of noise. I understand it’s someone's home so perhaps it was the family, or maybe they have another room that they rent upstairs but there was, what sounded like a kiddo, running back and forth at 6 am, and the next day (this morning) whoever was above me was really loud before 6am, lots of action upstairs. Again, it’s a home so I understand people live there, I just would’ve liked a bit more sleep.
Other than that, the room was pretty clean, check in was super easy, and the neighborhood is fine. I grew up in West Hills, so I was already familiar with the area. I’d stay again, but I’d bring earplugs next time, just in case :)
