The paperwork to secure was a bit intimidating company to other rentals, but you can't be too careful these days.Overall, a great space to stay, has 2 kayaks for use which we did. Awesome area, sights, dolphins at the waters edge at Hudson beach.

Relax on the canals

Had a wonderful stay at Hudson home on the canals. Men had fun fishing off deck and using the kayaks. Friendly neighbors too. Beds were comfy and home had everything we needed.

Hudson boating town

Lovely and relaxing

We had to be in town for a very stressful, upsetting reason and were so grateful to have this place to retire to. Tastefully decorated, well supplied, beautiful outdoor area and a dock on the canal with kayaks and fishing poles waiting! Clean and everyone very responsive. Five stars for sure!

Beautiful Home

Loved the lanai and fenced back yard! It was complete with a gazebo, table, chairs, and fireplace. Lots of towels and initial supplies. La4ge dining room. Property management the very best ever. Responsive to needs and concerns. I left a purse and they have promised to ship it to me! Thank you for a lovely month!

Beautiful and unexpected gem of a stay!!

The house was immaculate and the pictures were very accurate and up to date. We have never stayed at a rental vacation property as well stocked as this one. Plenty of coffee pods and teabags. Plenty of dishwasher tabs, toilet paper and paper towels. Not just “starter supplies”. The tray of snacks was a super nice touch. They even had flossers, Q-tips and makeup sponges in both bathrooms, along with as we call it “stinky spray”!! The pans and utensils were even in good shape, which is sometimes a rare find at a rental. The back yard and deck area were beautiful. Close to several good restaurants and a really nice movie theater. Excellent communication with the managers. We really enjoyed our stay at this property.

Overall Great With Some Issues

The property and location itself were exactly what I was looking for. The management company kept in touch reminding me about garbage pick up etc. However, we were unable to use the kayaks because the ramp to the floating dock was detached. I called to have the management company correct this but it never happened. Also, when the a/c and refridgerator came on at the same time the lights would flicker. FInally, the floor is a but uneven which is typical for this type of house but could pose a risk to some age groups.

Great Location, but house smelled musty, not ready for move in.

The area is wonderful; quiet, friendly neighborhood. BEAUTIFUL deck right on the channel, nice fenced in yard for our dog. We loved the outdoors. We rate the home as a 3, and the management company as a 5. We rented 73 nights. Upon our arrival, we spent 10 days working with the management company, meeting repair men. We received a new IKEA sectional sofa while we were there because the existing sofa had been left in the house after the hurricane! We received an air purifier, which helped the musty smell, but the smell was always there. Beds were comfy, but no extra bedding supplies, no hangers. All appliances were new, but minimal kitchen supplies. When we arrived, the microwave didn't work, the kitchen sink leaked onto the floor, master bathroom outlet didn't work, hallway light didn't work, back door didn't lock, main tv didn't work, the dinner plates were too large to fit into the small dishwasher unless you laid them down. The rental agency was extremely responsive no matter what time contacted. They were excellent to work with. We saw only 2 cockroaches and the rental agency had the house sprayed the very next day. That seemed to resolve the problem. We were left with no furniture in the living room for 2 days, when the sofa was removed while we waited for the delivery of the IKEA sofa that arrived in boxes, needing assembly. We were not given any compensation towards the 10 days of our vacation that we spent meeting handymen. Difficult way to start!

Very clean and the beds were comfortable!

We enjoyed our stay here very much. The host is very responsive and helpful when needed. The place was very very clean and the beds were comfortable! We enjoyed setting on the patio and fishing directly from the deck in the backyard. Also, we enjoyed using the two provided kayaks and gas grill. Definitely no regrets in choosing this location.

Everything was fresh and beautiful

This home met all my expectations and more. I have stayed in many vacation rental homes over the years and this house is now at the top of my list of favorite homes. The house was very clean, we felt like we were the first renters to occupy the home. Everything was fresh and beautiful. The communication with the Mark was impeccable, very quick to respond and addressed all of my questions. The check in process was simple as there is a lockbox on the door for entry. When we arrived the home felt so comfortable and inviting, a few lights were left on to greet us and there was lovely music playing on the tv which made the home feel very "homey" upon walking in. The backyard was one of my favorite places to be, my mother and I sat out there for many hours under the small shade tree each day and evening watching the boats go by, listening to the sounds around us and watching the gecko/lizards or whatever they may be called, at play. Both my mother and I had our small dogs, the fenced in part of the back yard was wonderful for them, this allowed them to be with us without being on a leash at all times, they had space to wonder a bit without being worried about them getting close to the water. The deck over the water was wonderful and even had shades that pulled down if the sun were in your eyes. The location of this home was awesome, close enough to walk to so many great places to eat, there is even a fantastic ice cream parlor right around the corner, of course we had to try that as well. The Hudson beach is a short walk or drive down the road, as I walked by there was several families enjoying the picnic area, sandy beach and swimming area. If you are someone who likes to walk in the mornings and evening, this is a great location to walk, there are sidewalks on the main road, it felt safe and I enjoy the scenery. My son lives not far from the house and one afternoon he brought over his kayaks. We were able to launch the kayaks right from the dock and paddled through the canals, out to the gulf. We paddled slow, which was easy to do, took our time looking at all the lovely homes and boats and we were out about 3 hours. You could easily do less or more time depending on your time frame, if you like to kayak, I would definitely recommend renting a kayak and enjoying the scenery around this area by water. All in all this house was truly worth the value. I am looking forward to my return to Florida again next year and would love to rent this home once again if it is available.

This was a great experience for me and my family. My wife was out at the water every day just relaxing and enjoying the quiet. The house was super clean and has everything, high speed internet, plenty of beds, and TVs in every room. The kayaks are a good way to get to the ocean and watch the sunset. This property has it all!

This property has it all! Lots of space for a family, and right on the canal. There is an ice cream shop and seafood restaurant within walking distance! The location is perfect to see lots of different parts of gulf side central FL. The outdoor space, a covered deck on the canal with boat access, is so beautiful and was our favorite part. I would definitely recommend staying here it’s a wonderful house.
