Your kids are able to enjoy a new 1300 sq. ft. Caribbean Pirate Inspired Splash Pad downstairs by the pool. The area consists of a Pirate Sloop and Ship’s Bow with Slant Jets and Water Cannon, a Beached Boat Wet Slide, a Palm Tree with Water Dumping Bananas as well as a Tiny Tulip Flower Spray. You can see pictures of the Water Park placed at the end of the condo slideshow. It’s sure to keep your little Bucketheads busy throughout your vacation.



Phoenix V is one of the most relaxing condominium complexes on the Gulf coast. There is a reason more vacationers stay at this condo than any other in Orange Beach.



There is not a better place to stay for you and your family than Phoenix V. There are plenty of activities including a weight room, racquetball court, sauna, indoor pool, hot tubs, tennis courts, basketball court and outdoor pool. There is even a nice gazebo area to relax under while you are bar-b-quing.



Come relax on the spacious corner balcony with breathtaking views of the Gulf or sleep on the large king bed in the master. A queen bed in the 2nd bedroom, and 2 doubles in the 3rd bedroom for sleeping up to 8. We are conveniently located next to restaurants, grocery stores and not far from the outlet malls.

Parking: You must purchase your parking passes upon arrival, they are a one time fee of $55 per vehicle. Any 3br unit you rent at Phoenix V guarantees you can purchase up to two parking passes, the front desk will sell you additional passes based on the occupancy of the complex during your stay but please do not expect the front desk to sell extra passes during the summer season.

Nice property

The property looks exactly like the photos. Very nice and easy check in process. Parking pass is an additional $55 once you arrive at the property. The shower liner and shower curtains can be replaced. The cleaning crew can clean a little better. Under the beds had trash and wristbands from previous stays.

Beautiful condo on beautiful beach

Loved this condo _ well stocked kitchen, plenty of towels (not beach towels) close to a Walmart, great seafood across street and splash pad great. Only thing to be aware of is this- take seriously the note about stocking some basics- tiny little hotel soap in bedroom, one roll of tp per bathroom, no dishwasher soap or dish soap, napkins, paper towels or wash clothes. Be prepared for a Walmart trip. But small price to pay for such a beautiful place.

We loved being able to use the Keypad on the door instead of a room key. This made it so simple for our teenagers. Areas near the pool were under construction which we weren't so happy with, but it did not hinder our experience. We would love to come again.

A wonderful family vacation

We really loved our time here! This was our first visit to OB! The view was great, loved being at the end of the hall with the large balcony. The place was spacious and clean. We had plumbing issues day one and they were ON it and had people to come fix it immediately. The pool size and location were great. The beach walk was perfect. Even the elevator situation was nice, never had a long wait for the elevator. We had 6 adults and 3 little ones. If I had to give any feedback would be a few extra towels and washcloths would’ve been helpful, but we just washed the towels every day, no big deal!!! Loved the chairs and net in the outdoor closet. Everything was perfect and we really hope to visit again!

Spent a lot of our time there. As far as the condo, it could use some updating. The kitchen appliances are outdated and only one burner on the stove worked (cooking dinner took awhile), the fridge is small for this unit being able to hold 8 people. The ice maker is sloowww(only a few cubes an hour) so buy bags of ice. Overall, nice place. Would stay again.

Don’t recommend

We stayed in this unit for 3 nights, it very much NEEDS a deep cleaning. When arrived one of the bath tubs had hair, and the inside shower curtain was very dirty, it had black and red stains, we didn't use this tub as it was very nasty to us, it was obvious this wasn’t changed before we arrived. The sheets on the king bed also had stains and the whole bedding itself smelled off. The kitchen needs cleaning as well, some plates had food stains so we had to wash everything before we used it. We couldn’t get Netflix to work on the tv the entire time! And when we called the number advised nobody answered. I will say the building offers an amazing pool and kid area if you have young children. The views are amazing from the balcony and only a short walk to the beach. However we will not stay here again and will look for a cleaner place on our next trip.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Location and views were absolutely spectacular. However the cleanliness of the apartment was far from that. I have stayed with phoenix properties before and never had this issue. When we first got to the apartment we found pet hair almost everywhere as well as some pet toys. There was hair all over the bathroom towels, brown stains on the bed bedsheets, pee and hair on the toilet seats, and after our 2 year old walked on the floors his feet were black. On top of it being dirty this rental gave you little to no supplies for your stay. Which is listed in the description now that I went back but we were given 2 rolls of toilet paper for a 10 person condo, 1 roll of paper towels, a single pouch of laundry detergent, a tiny bottle of dish soap, and 1 dish towel. I would not stay at this rental again. I hope they can find a better cleaning crew and get this place back up to tip top shape.

The property itself was amazing. The management company however was a nightmare.

We booked the place because of its ocean views and balcony. We got there and the balcony was closed off. When called the management company about she said the balcony was closed due to reconstruction and maintenance and she offered me 30% off of our stay. This was never mentioned to us ahead of time. We came from Michigan to enjoy the weather. So when I told her this wouldn't work, she was very annoyed with me. She finally was able to find us accommodations in another building. We had to pay again for two more parking passes at $50 per car times two cars. Finally, after my husband had a long discussion with her, we did get refunded one of the parking passes. Then, we were charged another $426 for the new condo that we were moved to. Of course we only found this out later that night when another person from that management company emailed us. It was not a pleasant experience.

Do not hesitate, book your stay! The facility was so clean and organized. There is so much to do and see!

We notified the maintenance man of some items needing attention and he was very kind and assured us things would be taken care of as soon as we left. The building is very outdated, but our condo was updated and nice. Something really needs done about the indoor pool and sauna area. Dark, dingy and no air movement at all resulting in a lot of sickness from the heaviness of the chemical smell in the air. A little bit of attention on the part of management would go a long way.

Pretty View from 9th Floor Balcony!

Reviewer Comments: We had a great time at Orange Beach.This is our 4th time to Orange Beach/ Gulf Shores.This Condo was older than the other Condos that we’ve stayed in, but was clean! The air conditioning vents are old and make a lot of rattling noises, it bothered our grandkids, but luckily their sound machines covered most of it, but all the adults did think it was hard to fall asleep to.The guest bathroom tub doesn’t hold water, I had read that on another previous review, so that has still not been fixed so we had to keep filling up the kids bathtub.We really enjoyed the views from our corner balcony, but it would be better if there were comfortable lounger chairs, there is only the outdoor dinning table and chairs.The Master and Queen beds were very comfortable ( not sure about the double beds in the 3rd bedroom?)My main complaint would be the lack of towels!!! There were only 3 bath towels for the master, and 4 for the quest bathroom. (And they were very thin, small, cheap towels!)The bedrooms sleep 6 and that’s just not enough towels.I did laundry every morning and evening just to have clean towels. ( Not the way I prefer to spend my vacation)Every other condo we’ve ever stayed at has had at least 6 towels per bathroom.The kids ( ages 5 & 3) loved the pool and splash pad .Being a corner unit, It is a LONG walk from the elevators to this unit!!The kitchen was pretty stocked, except for tongs and grilling spatulas.We had to improvise when grilling.Overall it was a nice stay.

They started at 8 am when I would have liked to slept in on vacation. The front desk lady was not friendly. She had a very dry personality. Not rude just not nice and friendly. The rest of the staff was very nice and accommodating. The security people were super nice and helpful when we arrived. Altogether a nice getaway for spring break.

Winter Break - 2023

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We were taking a break from winter along the AL coast. This has become a winter tradition. This property was located in the same building we have used before and is great for us. We enjoyed our stay but several issues keep me from giving it the full great experience. During our stay, deck repairs were being made throughout the building and we could not use the deck during our stay (not a controllable issue). We wish we had been notified in advance. Also, we encountered several annoying maintenance issues in the unit. We worked around them but left a note for management. All said, we would try this unit again in the future.

Enjoyed our stay

The condo was very clean. We could hear the people above the master bedroom in the morning showering. The master shower needs some repair on the ceiling. We enjoyed our stay in Orange Beach.
