Wonderful Venue

The listing did not over promise. The house was lovely, the location was excellent, and the amenities were great. If I had to report any downside, it would be the challenge of communicating directly with the owner. In our case, we were hit with an unexpected intense rain and wind event that caused significant flooding on the first floor (entry level) with no direct access to the owners for guidance on how to deal with the problem. We took it upon ourselves to take the affected carpets outdoors to drain and dry off and to sweep out the accumulated water. We finally were able to connect with the Clark family, who were most gracious and supportive. Net, we respectfully suggest that renters be given a direct line to the owners so they can contact them directly in emergency situations. This situation was needlessly complicated and stressful because immediate contact with the owners was not available.

Very cute beach house!

Overall we had a great stay! Paula was very communicative and helpful with any issue that arose. The house has a big deck, is a 3-minute walk to the beach, and has great restaurants, markets, and ice cream within a few blocks! The only caveat to note is the 4th bedroom is an open loft above the kitchen, open to noise and light which made it challenging for us to use. But otherwise, the house has everything you could need for an easy beach vacation (beach badges, chairs, toys, etc).

Our family have always enjoyed the Jersey shores.. the ocean is magnificent.
We have created many memories here.
I am a Mom, Grandmother(yiayia) and family is everything. Great care has been taken with this home to assure that there is comfort and enjoyment.
Love the sound of the ocean and the ocean breeze., and I know you will as well.
