This place was more than we expected this is our 1st visit to BB but definetly our top place to comeback very quiet neighborhood, the cabin have a few details but with the weather conditions was in great shape the living-kitchen open area is awesome.!!
This was my first time staying at a cabin in Big Bear. The overall cleanliness and amenities provided made our stay very comforting. Only a 10-15 min ride from the slopes and town definitely made the stay even more worth the 5 star review. I do feel the bunker room does get very cold but nothing a few extra blankets and a heater can’t fix. I 100% recommend this cabin and stay for next year to come. Reserve when you get the chance.
The sinks, toilets & showers were clean. Countertops throughout were clean. Water pressure on shower was great. Heated up nicely. In need of repairs and outdated throughout. No drawers to put clothing away and a total of 12 hangers throughout both closets. Broken closet door, toilet paper holder, towel rack. Minimal paper goods (had to go out and purchase more tp & paper towels). Lighting was poor in kitchen/dining area. Third room w bunk beds was scary and unheated- would not put my child in there to sleep. Oversized pack n play was a life saver since we didn’t utilize the bunk bed room. Door leading outside from this room was not insulated and could see through the door jam. Kitchen floors were warped and damaged, covered with a large rug. Plenty of blankets to cozy up. Dishwasher was full of dirty dishes when we arrived and tried getting it started, but wouldn’t work so we washed someone else’s dirty dishes.
We think if some tlc and giving more than just the bare minimum, this home has potential.
