The house is exactly as described and pictured. It is very convenient to walking downtown, the 1880 train and the Mickelson trail. The extra half bath and laundry room worked out well for us. Good outdoor seating area and plenty of off street parking.
This house was perfect for our family vacation in the Black Hills! It is walking distance from all the shops and restaurants in the little downtown area of Hill City. It’s right next door to a wonderful coffee shop, so we visited that almost every day of our stay. The house is also centrally located for easy visits to all of the major tourist attractions around (Custer, Mt. Rushmore, Crazyhorse, Sylvan Lake, etc.). Ken was also super helpful with insights about places to see and visit in town. Great host! We would definitely stay here again!
Very, very clean. Well thought out with 1.5 bathrooms and a vanity area between them. Ken was very attentive if we needed something. There’s a grocery store just a minute away. Great location.
Great location. Would be nice if screens on windows. Extra garbage cans. Light bulbs out in couple of lamps. Otherwise we had a great time, easy walking to restaurants and driving to our hiking list.Would stay here again.

The property exceeded our expectations. The house had plenty of space for our family, it was warm, cozy, inviting, and most importantly very close to down-town Hill City.
Perfect size house for our needs! Kitchen, bathrooms and laundry rooms well stocked. Owner was easy to work with! Centrally located for attractions we wanted o visit.
Great location and spacious house. Not much privacy being on the main road, but very conveniently located. A minor maintenence issue when we arrived that was taken care of promptly.
This was a fabulous place for our family of 4 to stay! Extremely clean! Furnished very nicely. Great supply of towels and supplies. We loved everything about this place and will be back! Ken was the best host I've ever worked with.
Property was clean and check-in could not have been easier. Location was great for downtown and the Black Hills attractions. Road noise could bother people if you are sensitive, but we aren't and that is what you get if you stay downtown.
This was a beautiful home and perfect location. Being right across from the 1880 Train was so cool especially for young kids. A cute little coffee shop right next door. Our stay was perfect and it was due to having a great place to stay!! 100% would recommend.
This is an ideal location, a block from shops, half block from Mickleson Trail, next door to a coffee shop! The Main St. was a bit noisy with the Sturgis Motorcycle Ralley coming up. Great air conditioning and large enough rooms.
This is a great place to stay. We stayed in the off season so everything in Hill city was less busy. I could see it being loud and busy in the summer since it is right on the highway in town by the main drag.

Thank you for the five star review. The location is great because you can walk to town in 1 minute. Even in the summer the traffic isn't too bad other than at 4:00. The windows are new and dampen most of the noise. With over 40 reviews only one renter mentioned the road noise.
