We were there for a beach soccer tournament and the house was very nice and comfortable. The house was a quick, easy walk to the sand and water. Good location not far from Pleasure Pier and restaurants. My family of 5 was very please with our stay.

The beach house was perfect for 3 couples. We wanted to get away for the weekend. Sunny beach was literally 1 minute drive and 3 minute walking distance. The beach house was very clean and super nice!! Would recommend this beach house!!

Excellent beach getaway!

Easy to find location near beach access. The house was great with all the amenities we needed with AC that had no problem keeping up with the summer heat. It did get a little noisy at times being right off the main highway, but that was minimal. It is on the back row, but we were still able to see some of the ocean from the balcony. The entire family loved it. We will definitely be back for another stay.

Great value, great place

This is a great location near Galveston, (8 mi Rd. is 8 mi. from Galveston) but not as far as other beach locations like Jamaica Beach and Pirates Beach. The beachfront is a public beach which you can drive on, so it's busy, but it is just a half block from a private beach (which you can access but not drive on), you you can walk over and set up for the day there! House is great, 2 bedrooms with a fold out couch - great for kids. Clean, and has everything needed to cook, but no salt, oil, so be prepared. Bring extra dishwasher pods and paper towels for more than 3 days. Keurig is in place which you can use ground coffee or pods, but bring your own. Overall great value, great place!

Great little house except for one thing

Loved this cute little property, which was well stocked and clean (something that can be rare in Galveston!). However, the only major problem is that the inside smelled like it had been smoked in. Every time we’d leave and then come back to the house, it’d hit us when we walked in. If the owner can do some ozone treatments or something (air fresheners ain’t gonna cut it), we would absolutely go back. Perfect for a family of four. Just please get rid of the cigarette odor.

July 4th wkend

Everything was great. Very cute beach house not far from the beach. I would add some hand soap in the half bath and paper towels in the kitchen, but other than that, I would stay again.

Perfect for what we needed

Wonderful time, clean and basic needs met. Would have liked better for more home info, like thermostat usage, ice and filtered water hook up and the outdoor shower access (was locked, although although otherwise stated) 3-4 min walk to beach. Great location!
