Comfy, spacious house, easily big enough for several more people. Well-stocked kitchen, plenty of space to unpack, drawers and hangers and hooks, room to spread out and relax.
My husband and I rented this property over Christmas so we could celebrate with our daughter who is serving in the US Navy. The host very graciously allowed us to bring our Labrador, who missed his kid desperately!! When we arrived on the property I was very excited to see they even put up a Christmas tree for us!! I felt the home was very clean. However the carpet has what seems to be spots from other pets. Overall we enjoyed how close we were to our daughters base. I will keep this property in mind for future visits.
Just as described, clean, had everything we needed. Upstairs with its bedroom, sitting room, and bathroom provides perfect privacy from downstairs for unrelated people traveling together. Thank you!
House is in a quiet neighborhood. House has everything you need for a stay. It’s at the end of the road so not much traffic. No AC but plenty of fans. The house didn’t need AC in August and September so not an issue. Heaters can be set to different temperatures in each room.
Only thing causing location to not have five stars is that the road to enter the neighborhood can only be accessed off the highway on one side. Had to drive past, turnaround and come back.
The house has everything you need for an extended stay. The neighborhood is quiet and has plenty of walkable streets/sidewalks. It is close to shopping, which makes it a convenient stay for work.
We rented this property for 4 months while our house across town was getting a renovation. Five stars on everything. Just as promised. Very cozy. Lots of space. The property management was great and very easy to communicate with. We will rent this place again when friends and family come to town. Thanks to the owner for renting to us. We really enjoyed it.
6 month stay while building a house on Bainbridge Island
The property was clean, cute, and well stocked. The location is close to fun shopping and a variety grocery stores such as Trader Joe’s, Costco, and Safeway. The yards, back and front, require quite a bit of weeding at least every two weeks, and would suggest a regular hired gardener, so it isn’t an eye sore. Overall, the house was wonderful and sufficient.

Disliked: Cleanliness, location, listing accuracy
4 D’s - dirty, dank, dark, depressing
I was not provided the address of the property prior to my check in time. Had I had the address I would not have selected this location. To travel in and out you are constantly backtracking on the highway. The neighborhood where I stayed was a cul-de-sac, which is so congested with so many cars sometimes it was difficult to get out of the driveway. Most depressing was the fact that this home was so filthy! I stripped the beds down to and including the mattress pad, cover and washed everything and sanitized it. The rugs in the bathroom had not been cleaned ever. They were so disgustingly filthy. The area rugs in the home I don’t think had been cleaned since they were first put down. I spent two days cleaning the stove which was so dirty the cooktop, the refrigerator and the countertops threw out. Obviously, this home had not been cleaned in quite some time quite depressing the carpet in the master bedroom and closet had so many areas where it was evident. It was dog urine. The manager did have carpet cleaners come in, but the spot started coming back up again; the urine had soaked down into the padding and was coming back up.Though the owner of the property did give me a refund of a small percentage of the money I had paid. It was so depressing to be there that I left after two weeks, having paid in full for .Stay in this home for any period of time is difficult. The pantry has all of the household stock in it, no room for groceries. I kept them on the kitchen counter,.
This was a last-minute trip for us due to a family death, so not exactly happy times. But having this home as our refuge made the situation so much easier to deal with. The house was exactly as described in the listing, very comfortable and spotlessly clean. (Probably the cleanest VRBO I’ve stayed in.) Upon arrival, the key box was frozen up so we couldn’t get in. I texted the host and within 10 minutes, two ladies showed up with keys. Not only that, but when we got inside, one of the smoke detectors had a low battery and was beeping. They found batteries and fixed it up without us even asking. The neighborhood was quiet and very convenient to Silverdale shopping. Would absolutely return.
