BRAND NEW LISTING!! Please note: (This is a duplex and both sides are available for rent. There is a connecting door if you rent both sides)

Welcome to Silver Sands in beautiful Gulf Shores! This house is the PERFECT getaway spot! It is a 2 bedroom, 1 bath duplex located on 2nd Avenue and has just about everything you would need to unwind and relax. There is covered parking underneath the house and plenty of seating on the deck outside. This unit comes with a shared laundry area downstairs under the unit. Inside, you will find that the house has been newly renovated and beautifully decorated. In the master bedroom, there is a Queen size bed to get your beauty rest. The second bedroom features a queen bed. In the living room there are 2 recliners and a sofa sleeper to sleep your extra guests. The dining room and kitchen are well appointed and you will have everything you need to cook. This house is just a short walk from the beach! Come spend your vacation at Silver Sands, we are sure you will love our house as much as we do!

Any reservations made prior to October 1st for the Winter Season (January and February) require a 60 day (two month) minimum. Reservations made that do not meet this criteria are subject to cancellation by management. After October 1st, reservations may be made for the winter months at a minimum of three or seven nights, depending on unit specifications.

Additional Information:
Vehicle Registration Tags are required and may be purchased upon arrival or by contacting our office directly. 2 cars maximum.
Linens are provided however, please bring your own beach towels
The reservation includes a "starter set" of hand soap, 1 roll of toilet tissue per bathroom, 1 trash bag per trash can, and 1 roll of paper towels.

Family Vacation

This place was great for us. We woukd stay again. The only thing i did not like was keeping up with keys. If it had a code to open the door it would have been perfect.

Beach time

We had a wonderful time & beach is only 2-3 blocks away. Most things are in walking distance & if you need to drive the strips are not to bad. Parking is a little more hectic. Over all we enjoyed our 5 days there.

Quiet neighborhood.

The neighborhood was quiet. The house is near the dead end of the street so traffic is nearly zero. We enjoyed our stay. The house was clean and comfortable. The only negative was the spare blankets. On our last night we had a family member stay. The spare blankets for the fold out couch had a smell from being stored in the top of the closet for too long. Definitely not a deal breaker. We would stay here again and even talked about renting both sides of the duplex with friends.

Great Find-so close to beach

Would be really helpful to have more towels and at least a bathmat. That would actually save the floors of the bathroom from water damage and be a nice amenity for guests. Overall clean and as advertised.

Family vacation!

I loved the house ! Everything was wonderful! Only thing is one room was suppose to have a tv and didn’t do we only had one tv and that was in the living room! Also the house could use a broom and mop and maybe extra towels! We was a family of 5 and only had four big towels and two small ones! But location and everything else was wonderful!

Clean but lacks a lot of the essentials.

Great place and amazing location. The house was very clean and family friendly, but there were no blankets, toilet paper, paper towels, or soap. Usually that stuff comes with the places but I had to buy it this time. It’s no big deal to me but maybe good insight for future guest! Will definitely recommend to others and rent in the future.

Hello, We are not false advertising. According to our notes, you reported the unit did not have a washer and dryer. There is a washer and dryer that is shared with the north side of this duplex. It is stated in the description. You also believed it was a 3 bedroom and 2 bathroom. It is advertised as a 2 bedroom, 1 bath. You exceeded the amount the unit sleeps and brought air mattresses. This review is false and should not be used for future guest recommendations. This guest is upset that we would not refund them for these issues.

1. The walls are so thin that you can hear every time anyone walks across any unit. 2. There needs to be curtains. It was so bright that every morning this woke us up at sunrise. 3. We didn't realize there was 2 separate units from the description and photos we saw when we booked online. There should be a better description. When we pulled up and saw someone in the north unit, our heart sunk thinking that there was some mistake or overbooking. 4. Parking for the back unit was terrible. We thought we would be able to park upfront or under the decking. This was blocked the entire time. Very narrow to back in and out of and not enough room to turn around. 5. The property on the south side and on the west side was occupied by extremely loud and obnoxious people that smoked dope, drank heavily, cussed, and played loud music late into the night. 6. The beds were hard. 7. There was very sparse kitchenware that looked like leftover rummage sale scraps. 8. For what the price is to book and clean, I think we should get more than 1 roll of toilet paper and 1 trash bag. 9. Also didn't like having to pick up and drop off key. You should use keypads.
