Excellent Home for Large Family

Beautifully furnished, unbelievable kitchen island, and large pool not to mention large dining room table, eclectic living room and perfect bedrooms for our large family. Everything is excellent about this property: location, yard, neighborhood, house, pool and side yard. We cannot wait to to return next time we're in the area.

Lovely Family Home

We came from California to celebrate our son graduating from high school. The home is beautiful and we all enjoyed the pool. We cooked, BBQ, order Hibachi service. Just a wonderful fun time.

Fort Walton Home

This house was very well equipped with dishes and kitchen items. The decor was very nice and the pool was clean. Has grill had no gas in it but the owner responded quickly to our request for a new tank.

This is a beautiful home that suited our girls trip perfectly. Plenty of bedrooms and 3 baths made it very workable. In ground pool is very nice although unheated with a sharp dropoff to the deep end so not perfect for young children. The huge kitchen island and extra amenities like wine fridge, pool fridge, grill, fireplace, and smart tv are very nice options. Close to a main road to access shopping, restaurants, and grocers.

Perfect and quiet location!

When we first arrived, the pool was being treated so we couldn’t use it. We were in town for a baseball tournament so that wasn’t a deal breaker. When we had questions, Sarah was very prompt in her responses and made the stay very enjoyable. Great location to local restaurants and grocery stores and quiet enough to get a goods nights rest! Would definitely stay at this location again. Thank you, Sarah!!

Check in

Check in time 3pm but the cleaning crew was still working at 330pm. Stating we check in at 4pm when i asked for a early check in time. Sauna was not apart of the rental without an additional fee.

Happy wedding weekend!

The owner allowed us to check in early due to elderly parents. Fabulous location! Our son got married on Okaloosa island and we were just minutes from that beautiful beach. Sam’s and Walmart were minutes away for groceries. Kitchen is a chefs dream. Beautiful cutlery and place settings. Plenty of towels, for the awesome screen-enclosed pool. Comfortable beds. Excellent space for a large family to spend time eating and playing together. When we had questions the owners were very responsive. Gorgeous home! Thanks for hosting us!

Pictures don’t do it justice!

Vacationed here with four young kids. The pictures don’t do the property justice. It has clearly been newly renovated and everything was sparkling clean and in good condition. This is by far the most well appointed vacation property we have stayed out. From the abundance of bath and swimming towels to the toiletries. Small things like tissue boxes in the bedrooms to bigger things like all clad cookware. There are enough plates and glassware to host a not so small event and the largest kitchen island I’ve ever seen to gather around. But the biggest hit by far was the enclosed pool. Not a bug in sight! Conveniently located to grocery stores and a quick ride to Destin but located in a quiet neighborhood that was perfect for relaxing. Would come here again and again!

Best of everything!

The house itself is located near everything! Starbucks is like 2 minutes & there's a pho restaurant right before you enter the neighborhood. The beaches a short drive away. When you enter the home, it is just like it's pictured! Huge gourmet kitchen....tables & chairs to entertain a big gathering. Don't even get me started on the pool! It's huge! The rooms are cozy. And the property provides beach towels & slippers. They pretty much made my trip a little bit lighter! There is only 1 TV in the living room as a reviewer mentioned, but to be honest, I like it that way. This way, everyone needs to hang out together. I do suggest bringing some board games for those rain out days. Otherwise....endless days! I will be returning again. Thank you!

Family of 6 staying over the 4th of July for 2 weeks

The house was perfect for our family. We have stayed in Destin before but we liked the less busy area where this house was. Plenty of restaurants very close plus the beach is only 15 minutes away. We have 4 children and there was enough BRs for everyone to have their own space. One initial draw back was there is only 1 TV in the LR area. Most other properties have a TV in most BRs. This actually was not that bad as we had to watch things as a family like life in the 80's. Pool area was very nice, we hadn't even been concerned with screened in pool when booking, but we were very glad it had one as the mosquitos would have been unpleasant. Screen worked very good though. Pool wasn't heated but plenty warm on the 90° days and nights. Listing had a sauna listed but it was an addition $200 if you wanted to use it. It was plenty hot enough without it but the wife was a little let down. The master bed was very big but was tight up against the wall on one side. It was also very short. That made it pretty difficult to get in and out of. Needless to say we missed our sleep number bed. The master shower is plumber wrong for an FYI. Just barely on is very hot and all the way over is cold. The first night my wife sat in there for 15 minutes waiting for it to warm up. The owners had 2 cameras at the outside entry and one at the pool area. We didn't really like being watched but then again understand why they have them. Overall it's a very nice place with plenty of room

It was amazing!

We had a most amazing time! The house is close to the beach and to shopping. It is also close to Walmart. There is so much to do in the area. The house was perfect. The kids swam in the pool when we weren't at the beach. Thank you for a great vacation!

Peaceful and relaxing!

Very spacious home in a quiet neighborhood made for a peaceful and relaxing vacation. Close enough to the beach and other attractions to venture out when we wanted. A few oddities but that’s just a personal preference that didn’t effect our stay one bit: master bed is a bit low for my handicapped boyfriend to easily get in and out of, bathroom doors not wide enough for his walker, no can opener (that I could find), and I wish the pool area was better lit and had a fan. However, I LOVED the screened in pool - no bugs or leaves in the pool. Overall a wonderful stay in this beautiful home!

Beautiful and convenient

The house was absolutely beautiful and had plenty of room for everyone. Location is close to the beach, downtown, restaurants, grocery stores, and shopping. The host was very nice and got back to us quickly with questions and make check in very simple.

It is homey, featuring a newly renovated kitchen. Our home is a great place for those who like to host, cook, and have family gatherings and reunions.
