Wonderful cabin

Lorraine is a great host, providing so many small touches that make your stay so comfortable. The house is cozy but not cramped The mattress was also very comfortable. The winding staircase is tight and could be an issue for some so keep that in mind. The location is quiet and peaceful

Great mountain cabin

Really enjoyed our stay. The cabin was in a great location with easy access to trails, breweries and wineries. It had all the amenities needed for a fun weekend. The host was very accessible. Definitely recommend this cabin. If you want a fun we can get away.

Truly a wonderful stay

The cabin is in a very pretty location, close to Shenandoah, vineyards, and other activities. Lorraine did a wonderful job providing plenty of amenities, she really went above and beyond what I would have expected. The cabin is very clean and everything is in good condition. It's bigger than the pictures and some of the other reviews made me expect - certainly larger and nicer than any hotel room you could find for a similar cost, and a hotel won't have such bucolic environs. There's a bed in the loft and a futon on the ground floor. The spiral staircase is tight, but very sturdy and safe. Overall I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Definitely consider staying here!

A mountain girl at heart. I love living up here in the Blue Ridge with my ducks, chickens, and kitty Sunshine where every day is an adventure. I am grateful for the magnificence of God's creation I am blessed to be surrounded by each day. This is a photo of me and my mom on our last Mother Daughter trip to Key West. An annual tradition we had for the last fifteen precious years of her time with me.
