About this property

Cozy cabin near Lake Rabun and Clayton. Dog friendly!

The Wexford Hideaway is the perfect place to unwind and escape after a day of hiking, fishing, and exploring all that North Georgia has to offer. When you walk in the front door of our 2 bedroom/2.5 bathroom cabin, you are greeted with a two story living room and wood burning fireplace. Relax on the couch while streaming your favorite show, or curl up in one of our sitting areas with a good book.

The kitchen is fully stocked with all the basic cooking essentials.

The dining area seats 6 guests comfortably for a home cooked meal while overlooking the private backyard.

You will find the master bedroom on the main level with a king size Casper mattress and attached bathroom. Also on the main level is a half bathroom with a washer and dryer.

Head upstairs to the loft where we have a desk for your remote work needs. The loft also has a twin size trundle bed where you can sleep two additional guests.

The upstairs bedroom consists of a queen size bed and an air conditioner unit for those warm summer months. There is a full bathroom upstairs and plenty of towels.

This cabin sleep 6 comfortably and enough linens are provided for this many guests. Please note that two of the beds are a trundle twin bed in the open loft. The loft can get warm in the summer months.

Relax on the screened in porch or spend time with friends and family around the fire pit. The backyard is fenced in so you can relax while your pups explore.

My wife and i loved our time here. We got almost 6" of snow during our stay. Very pet friendly. Cabin has fenced in area. Everything you need. Very private, no traffic, no noise. Woodburning stove, whole house backup generator, gas stove. Perfect place to stay with no worries during winter. We will be staying again.

We all loved this cabin

Beautiful location in the mountains. Lots of fun and interesting things to do. Swimming, hiking, shopping, and just driving around looking at the views which never get tiring to look at. The cabin is clean and such a cozy place to stay. We would love to go back again.

The cabin was amazing. Breathtaking views. The drive up to the cabin along the lake was picturesque. The host sent a lot of helpfulInformation and tips before our trip.The beds were comfortable, plenty of linens and toiletries for all. They even left us a s'mores kit. Quiet relaxing location

Loved this property. Fully stocked with all of your needs, including extra stock. Great screen porch for reading and coffee. Nice fenced backyard for our dog, she loved deer watching. Very comfortable bedding and sitting areas. Very close to Lake Rabun marina, restaurants and two hiking spots. We will be back!

This is definitely a great place to unwind and relax! I rented the cabin over Christmas. As others have mentioned, the cabin is extremely well stocked which was much appreciated since I was there over a Holiday. During my stay, the temperatures were well above average which meant that I took full advantage of the screened in porch as well as the fire pit area. During the last day of my visit, the area was hit by heavy winds which created an extended power outage due to trees down outside of the community. This cabin has a back-up generator which automatically came on and remained on throughout the outage! The owners have obviously done a very good job in making sure that their guests have everything that they could possibly need.

Tucked Away Getaway

Lovely property. The host provided practically everything one would possibly need for your stay, right down to a well stocked spice cabinet! The open floor plan along with the screened in porch made for an extremely relaxing space. Also, the outside fire pit area experience is one you never want to end.We were blown away with all the amenities and look forward to returning next year.

perfect Lake Rabun Cottage

This cottage ended up being perfect for our stay at Lake Rabun. Its very clean and very well take care of. Beds are super comfortable! Location was great for us, easy to Lake Rabun & Clayton, and also very easy to Lake Seed, Burton. The check in process is very modern and easy. We so much enjoyed our stay!

Best dog friendly cabin in North Georgia!!

Cabin was everything described in the listing and more!! Dog friendly cabin and having a fenced in back yard was a blessing. Drive to the cabin was easy with a gravel section just at the end. Driving along lake Rabun road was so nice and scenic. Very nice area to vacation and many hiking trails to enjoy. Would stay at this cabin again anytime !!

Absolutely Amazing

Our stay at the cabin was absolutely amazing. It was perfect in size and setting which made it feel so homey. The location allowed us to visit multiple waterfalls over the week along with small town shopping and lovely places to eat. There were so many small touches that the host has thought of everything. We have already begun to plan our next trip to the mountains and will definitely be returning to stay here again!!

Perfect except for the weather…

We had a great time at the cabin. The weather did not hold up but we still really enjoyed our stay! The cabin was better than the description in my opinion. This is a clean and quiet cabin in an ideal area. Deer right outside the cabin each morning. We plan on coming back. Thank you so much.
