This house is perfect for 1 or 2 couples who want to come for a concert or vacation here in downtown New Braunfels or Gruene, or just want to hang out here for a romantic, stress-free weekend away from everything!
This is the perfect place to park your car and never have to drive again during your stay, as almost everything you could need is within walking distance.

This house has an awesome kitchen with everything you would need for cooking a great meal, BBQing outside (charcoal), diving into the shared plunge pool, or ordering in! Enjoy access to a shared plunge pool, which is shared with two other houses on the property.

There are two bedrooms in this house; one king bed and one queen bed. Both bedrooms have a flatscreen TV and expanded cable. The living room is spacious and cozy, with a window bar to look out at the yard while enjoying your morning coffee.

Rent the other two houses right next door to accommodate up to 26 with all 3 houses.

Bringing a furry friend along? No problem! Our optional pet service is available for just $25.00 per day for dogs under 40 lbs and $40.00 per day for dogs over 40 lbs. A one-time $35 cleaning fee applies for additional cleaning inside the cottage. Yard cleanup is not included.

When making your reservation, please let us know if you'll be bringing any pets along, so we can make the necessary arrangements for your stay.

Stein Competition

We stayed for the Stein Comp at Krauses Cafe and floated the river. We had a blast and the place was nicer than we ever expected. Highly recommend to everyone.

Needs a little attention

Before I begin, I would like to say I did not contact Cathy to try to rectify any of the problems because we had only booked a two night stay. I’m sure she would have tried to take care of the problems. There were several things not working correctly or being controlled by an outside source therefore making the stay uncomfortable. The lights and ceiling fans are remote controlled and none of the remote controls were working so we could not turn them on. I think new batteries are all that are required to fix that. The air conditioner/heater was controlled by an outside source so if adjustments were made they quickly returned to the original setting. Normally that would not be an issue but since the fans were not operational due to the remote controls it got a little hot at night. The directions for watching television were outdated in the check in book or the Spectrum remote was missing. Also, you could only watch TV in the living room. The other two TVs, although they functioned, we’re not operational to watch TV, only static. I don’t know if they weren’t hooked up to the Internet or the service or what. There were a few minor cleaning issues such as previous guest trash in the trash cans, bugs in window sills, and unclean counters. The pillows on the king size bed really had seen better days. We did not use the other bedroom so I do not know how it was. My husband and I did not stay the second night. We only live two hours away and decided our home would be more comfortable than staying the second night. It’s not a horrible property by any means but just needs a little more attention to details.

Nice property in great location

We love staying here. The house was lovely and has all of the amenities for a wonderful stay. The backyard was awesome and relaxing. Location was perfect for access to activities in New Braunfels and Gruene.

Pretty nice place to stay

Relaxing overall, only problem we had water pressure in shower no to good for washing our thick hair and couldn't get heat. Although Cathy did try to help and answered my text promptly I just couldn't figure it out. Not all people my age are tech savey. All in all we had a fun relaxing Thanksgiving.

Great place in a great location.

It was a very beautiful and spacious place located minutes to everything we wanted to do. It only had 1 bathroom so that was not the greatest and the couch bed was very uncomfortable. However, everything else was amazing and we had an absolutely great time.
