The Himalayan Sea Salt Cave of Tranquility: If you find this cave, your body will thank you a thousand times over as you experience Halogenic Therapy, while sitting in luxurious Zero Gravity Shiatsu Massage Chairs. As the cave air is diffused with salt, negative ions are released, promoting feelings of calmness and rejuvenation, preparing your body for the next room to explore.

The Versailles Bed: If James Bond and King Luis XIV could get together and create a bed, this would be it. Apart from being THE LARGEST BED in the state of Ohio, this elegant juggernaut of seduction has its own control panel ready for you to explore. Buttons that do things you have only heard about are waiting to be pushed. (There may be a WARNING label or two, use caution.)

The Prom Night Experience: When you unlock this room, you'll step back in time, to a night to remember. Outfitted in classic prom style, play the top prom songs from the year you graduated ...or call out the first dance at your wedding to relive that special moment. Complete this task with gusto and your next room will be revealed.

The Purple Potion Room: Massage Table. Body Oils. Music. With massage machines at your disposal, each one of you will become a master masseuse.

The Mayan Rainforest Jet Tub: Relax in this tropical playground of bubbly fun! Acupuncture shower jets along with the the 18 whirlpool jets offer a bathing experience like no other. This made for two bathing experience is one of the most luxurious water experiences you can ever have. The ceiling rainfall shower and full body, vertical sprayers make washing away the rainbow colors you acquired from the Salvador Body room just as much fun as it was putting them on. Music, aromatherapy, hydro-foot massage and a steam bath make this the perfect place to sip some bubbly while soaking in bubbles. My husband and I had a wonderful time at this property. All of the puzzles where fun and just challenging enough! Each room was decadent and fun. We followed the PRo TIP suggestions, had a wonderful dinner in the nearby town. I would HIGHLY recommend staying at this property. The owner obviously spent a lot of time and thought curating the entire experience. I would do the whole thing again.

This property is beautiful! The town is very cute. The experience is so much fun and I highly recommend it. You work through clues with your partner and amazed as to what those clues lead to. You can have a romantic experience and walk around the historic town. You will have a blast!

The hosts messaged clearly and promptly while working great to offer whatever we may need. Whenever you think you are about done there are more clues and hidden passages for the next adventure! We had so much fun - way more than we thought we would! The only downside was that we couldn’t find any toilet paper anywhere for the restroom, but we also did not notify the host that it was all gone so?!?!?! Highly recommended getaway!

From the days leading up to our stay, the curator went above and beyond expectations. The details he added to make our experience unique really meant so much. We had so much fun! This was a definite shake-up for the typical date night routine. We were awed by all the details and giggled like kids along the way. Recommend you arrive as early as possible at check-in so you have lots of time to enjoy all the amenities. The puzzles/clues are manageable and the QR codes work great so there’s no stress at all. Loved the space in the suite and the opportunity to return to our favorite room multiple times.

HISTORICAL HOME

Welcome to the F. C. Larimore home c. 1841. The home was originally built by William Beam, a dry goods merchant who served as sheriff for some years. The home, though, is mostly associated with Dr. Frank Carter Larimore, M.D. This stunning home with updated 2 HVAC systems, boasts 4 fireplaces (inoperable), spacious room on the main level with a full bath and kitchen. The second story has a large owners bedroom, second floor foyer or, "the library", 3-4 additional bedrooms; a laundry; double-carriage house;. Large side yard and private rear courtyard perfect for entertaining.

"Dr. Frank Carter Larimore was the creator of the first "hospital" in Mount Vernon.
During the Civil War, Mr. Larimore served in Ohio infantry brigades. War injuries rendered Mr. Larimore unable to work as a farmer after the war. He decided to enter medical school in New York, and graduated as Dr. Larimore in 1869. He eventually rose to the presidency of The Ohio State Medical Society. Dr. Larimore stayed on the cutting edge of medical science and was the first doctor in Knox County to use a hypodermic needle and to practice anesthesia using cocaine.

Until a real hospital was built in Mount Vernon, Dr. Larimore used a room in his own home as the hospital."
