At “Appartamenti Vista Isola,” the name says it all—the view of the lake, the islands, and the mountains is spectacular. These are two 3½- and 4-room apartments, renovated in 2018 and tastefully refurnished, located on the 2nd floor of a 17th-century palazzo (a 6-family house) dating from the 17th century, which enjoys a sunny location right on the beautiful, approximately 8 km-long lakeside promenade. Both apartments, each approximately 90 m² in size, are well-equipped and feature a dishwasher, a washing machine, and free Wi-Fi.
From the house, shops, restaurants, cafés, bars, and the magnificent Romanesque old town of Pallanza are all within easy walking distance, and the passenger ferry dock is only about 200 m away. This allows you to conveniently explore the lake by boat and take a variety of excursions, including trips to the Borromean Islands just offshore. For the sports enthusiasts among you, the town’s tennis court, the public swimming pool with a sandy beach, and the public beach with a sunbathing area are just 500 to 900 metres away. For hiking enthusiasts, the nearby Val Grande Nature Reserve offers a wide range of opportunities to experience and explore a uniquely wild and unspoiled landscape. The lakeside promenade, on the other hand, invites you to take long walks. From there, it’s about a 30-minute walk to the world-famous Villa Taranto Botanical Garden, home to over 20,000 different plant species from around the world.
