• Water depth at the end of the aluminum dock is approximately 5 feet, making it ideal for swimming and launching watercraft.
Water Entry: Easy access with a pebbly shoreline and areas of exposed Canadian Shield bedrock, ideal for wading, lounging, and launching watercraft. Water shoes are highly recommended.

Farm Lake is private with no public boat launch, and there is no boat launch available on the property.
Garbage & Recycling: Please note that garbage and recycling must be taken to one of the nearby waste sites, located approximately 10–14 minutes from the cottage. We provide garbage bags, and Guest Waste Site Permits are available on the fridge. Please hand in the permit card upon entrance the waste site.

Just relaxing

Enjoyed my stay very much. A well equipped cottage inside and out. A very quiet location! I enjoyed walking the woods identifying lichens and mushrooms and even met a couple of friendly neighbors. One thing to pass on. The water was very clear with the exception of a few weeds and silt, stick bottom. The floating dock located a short swim from the main dock and shoreline, providing a splash entry and was in the sun all day.

Family getaway to celebrate retirement

Just lovely! The cottage was clean, comfortable and well supplied and the other cottages on this small lake were unoccupied until the day of our departure making it a particularly peaceful and private holiday. Watched the autumn colours evolve before our eyes, saw a bald eagle while canoeing and even enjoyed a few late season swims. Marvellous way to start my retirement.
