Newly Renovated Mountaintop Home w/ Amazing Views and Sunsets

This adorable mountain charmer has been fully renovated and is ready to be enjoyed. Sitting on top of Huckleberry Mountain, this house boasts the most beautiful panoramic views of the Blue Ridge Mountains providing a private, relaxing retreat. Facing west, we also have incredible sunsets from the covered porch or fire pit. The house offers plenty of space with 3 bedrooms (king, queen, and a bunk room that sleep 4-6) and two full bathrooms. All bedrooms have smart TVs with Roku and there is strong wifi throughout the house. The living room was designed with comfort and coziness in mind as the furniture and beds/mattresses are brand new. The adorable kitchen is fully equipped with everything you would need and has all new appliances. We also turned the oversized two car garage into a fun game room with a pool table, 50 inch flatscreen TV and a bar. Possibly the best thing about this house though is the location!! Here you are only15 minutes away from the quaint and popular downtown Hendersonville; 20 minutes from Lake Lure, Chimney Rock, Mills River/Airport and Saluda; 30 minutes from Asheville, Brevard and Black Mountain. This area is filled with hiking, waterfalls, fly-fishing, zip lines, rafting trips, tubing etc. We also have over a dozen cideries, breweries and wineries in Hendersonville; 8 are within 15 minutes of the house! We could go on and on with all this area offers, whether you are a nature lover, adventure seeker, or just looking for a time to relax and disconnect, this place is for you! As years long Airbnb and VRBO renters ourselves, we take very seriously the cleanliness, comfort, and safety we provide to our guests, no detail or necessity has been overlooked.

Once getting to the top of the mountain we did not want to leave this place! We used it for family to meet from different areas for Christmas. The wonderful hosts went above and beyond to decorate it for Christmas which made us all feel at home. Every evening presented a new spectacular view of the sunset! It was a wonderful space for all our age groups spanning age 4 to 87! Once up 3 stairs, it was all one floor. I can't say enough about this place and the hosts, they were easy to communicate with and were very responsive to our questions! We would all stay here again! There were 7 of us!

Great! July 4th weekend stay.

Nice house with a view! Very quiet and private ( except for the July 4th fireworks all over the valley, which was awesome). All the amenities needed for a quick family getaway to the Hendersonville area. House was very clean and had everything we needed. Host was accessible and very responsive.

WOW!

What an amazing place! We are a family of 7...we have 5 kids between the ages of 6 and 11. This property was perfect for our visit to the Asheville area. First off, you can tell the entire property was completely renovated and was done very well. Everything was so nice and clean and my wife wants to make sure that I mention that it was "decorated so cute". Very cool game room in the garage as well with a pool table. The layout of the house was perfect for us with the 3 boys taking the bunk room and our twin girls in the back bedroom. The master was spacious and comfortable, although we didn't book the house to hang around inside (even though it was awesome!!!) because the outside is equally amazing and that's where we spent our time! The property is on top of a mountain and secluded from neighbors with woods surrounding. The view from the upper balcony overlooking the mountains was INCREDIBLE!!! The fire pit and sitting area was great. The kids loved running around the property in the woods and swinging on the large swing in the front yard while mom and dad enjoyed happy hour on the deck! The location was perfect for exploring the entire area. Closest to Hendersonville, which was a great little city, but not too far from Asheville and all the sights there as well as surrounded by great outdoor hiking areas! We did several but really enjoyed the waterfalls in the DuPont forest area. Anthony and Andrea were fantastic hosts and communication was clear and concise with Andrea...thanks again for allowing us to enjoy your property!

Excellent Hospitality!

If I can give this property and host a 20 out of 10, I would!!! The house was immaculate and had everything we needed! It was sooo clean that I was constantly cleaning behind my family to keep it as clean as possible! Our host thought of everything! We came for a Thanksgiving vacation to rest and relax and we did just that! The house was so cozy we barely wanted to leave. The mountaintop views were breathtaking! We will definitely be back!

Chic with incredible views!

What an amazing home! We absolutely adored our stay. The views are incredible, much better than the pictures show. Lots of space to spread out. The deck was lovely and had plenty of cozy seating. The inside was clean, had everything we needed, and very trendy chic. Would absolutely stay again!!

Hidden gem

Thank you to our amazing hosts as they were very accommodating and responsive. We truly enjoyed our family vacation in this gorgeous home which was tucked in at the top of the mountain with incredible views. This home was beautifully updated and had great entertainment (pool table in the garage, TVs in each room, etc) in addition to a great deck to sip on your coffee and admire the beauty of nature. I would truly go back and recommend this to friends and family :)

Pretty mountain retreat

We had a great time at the house. Everything is clean and new, and you are way up a mountain and it’s so peaceful. We ended up having some rain during our stay, but there’s a pool table, board games, and the deck has some roof cover. The front yard has a swing and the trees have little holds for scaling! My son loved it! 🧗‍♀️ Lots of things to do in the area, but taking a retreat and staying up there is a great idea, too! We really enjoyed our stay.

Cozy trendy mountain house get away

Amazingly renovated. Very trendy and cozy. The Mountain views from the large back porch are incredible. The fire pit was a great way to relax too. The only thing I would add to the listing description is while the location feels like a rural get away it is pretty conveniently located but the driveway is steep and windy. And I would add a photo of the garage/game room area with the pool table. It was a great space to enjoy a beer from the local breweries and catch up with friends. It was also the perfect extra space we needed for our mountain bike gear.
