This cabin was perfect for myself and two 11 year olds. Gave us the ability to eat in if we didn’t want to venture out, and it was a good hub for trips to Grandfather Mountain, The Blowing Rock, Linville Caverns and much more. The surrounding farm was peaceful. We hope to return one day.
The cabin view… beautiful! We loved staying at this cabin. The host was very responsive -for some reason we had no caffeinated coffee and Rhonda made sure we had it the next day. We stayed with our two kids which loved the loft. We would highly recommend it and definitely will stay here again. As an extra note: the sofa and loft mattresses may need replacing but didn’t take away from our experience. We really enjoyed our time here.
A gorgeous cabin with an amazing view! So much to do in the surrounding area too. A kitchen, bathroom, washer dryer, comfortable bed and plenty of space to lounge indoors and out! Couldn't ask for anything more.
Had a great time here. Views of the sunrise were amazing. Far enough from town that we saw rabbits, deer and heard lots of birds in the morning. But also less than 15 min from downtown Boone and several trails. The cabin was well equipped and we hope to stay here again!
We enjoyed a weekend get away for an App State Camp. Perfect location and size for me, my husband, and our 13 year old. Clean, relaxing, and affordable!
The property was great. Far enough from town for quite, and close enough to go do the things we wanted. The owners had a great list of local places, which helped as I've never been to Boone. Great little city. The cabin was enough for two of us, and was a great spot to get away to. Keep up the good work. Dave
Lovely, small cabin that was perfect for me and my adult son for a weekend in Boone. It’s close to town, close to hiking, and yet removed from the world and just so tranquil. Clean and neat and very well done.
This tiny cabin was absolutely perfect for my vacation in the mountains. The location was close to stores and had incredible views! My daughter loved petting the horses on the property that were all so calm and sweet. The property owners were also very responsive with a question I had and so kind. Could not recommend this property more!
Amazing views. Clean and cozy cabin. Would stay again.

My husband and I fell in love with the Blue Ridge/Appalachian Mountains while visiting the Boone area on a trip to celebrate our 10th Anniversary. Five years later we found this beautiful 206-acre property we are now blessed to call home. But our dream wasn't to keep this little piece of heaven to ourselves, we wanted to share this incredible place with others, so we began to slow process of adding tiny vacation cabins for people to come and experience the amazing outdoors of Boone, North Carolina.
Why they chose this property
Each cabin has its own charm, but it's the views and the peaceful outdoors that are the most captivating!
What makes this property unique
The property is unique in that it's so vast. From the incredible view as soon as you round the corner, to the tiny yet cozy atmosphere of each and every cabin. The ability to sit and enjoy the stars and fireflies in the evening, to the peaceful walks across the fields during the day to admire the cows/calves and horses. It's truly a beautiful place!
