Water Views Cottage Walk to Madaket Beach, A/C

Nine D Street is on the western end of Nantucket Island. Close to the shuttle and bike path to allow easy access for exploring all of Nantucket. Just a short walk away from the Madaket Beach, you can hear the sound of the waves lapping onto the shore and see the world-famous Madaket sunsets from this 1992 upside down house with water views. Watch the boats on Hither Creek and Madaket Harbor. Look out at Tuckernuck Island and Eel Point. A peek at the ocean is seen to the west. Two bedrooms and a den sleep up to six people. Well furnished, air conditioned and with two baths and an outdoor shower, this beach house provides the perfect vacation getaway. In the summer season we are a Sunday to Sunday rental.

Fantastic stay in Madaket. The house was recently remodeled and much larger than it looked in photos. It was a pleasure to meet the wonderful owner as we were leaving.

Beautiful Nantucket Rental

This home is a great rental in Madaket on Nantucket. Beautiful sunsets on the beach within walking distance and the seals made an appearance every night. This is the second time I have rented from the owners and they are very nice and very easy to work with. The home has everything you need with a great view from the upper deck. The bus stop is very close to the house. I will absolutely be renting this home again. Highly Recommend!!

We stayed here for work on the island. The home was very well stocked, clean and comfortable. The views are stunning. Thanks to Paul and Diane who have thought of every little thing you could possibly need during your stay. I hope to return on vacation!

A little piece of heaven

From the minute we arrived we fell in love with the Cottage. It had everything one would need and more. It was a peaceful neighborhood with great beach walking close by. In fact we fell asleep to the sound of waves crashing every night. We were also there for a night of a pageant of lightning. We think of it as an East Cost Maui like haven with incredibly considerate owners provided and very well appointed and clean home. Easy access to the Shuttle to go to town but always to return for the wonderful sunsets. We recommend it to our family and friends and we will go back.

Great vacation cottage

We really enjoyed our stay at the Madaket cottage. It was well furnished and comfortable. The evening sunsets from the second floor were especially terrific. We enjoyed the relative quiet and seclusion of the cottage, but having access to cable TV and wireless internet certainly came in handy. This cottage would be great for a romantic getaway for a couple, or for a family with kids who want easy walking access to a great beach. I would definitely recommend this Nantucket rental cottage to a friend.
